@Multifavs , I challenge you to a fight...

...On Super Smash Bros. I call Mario!
But I'm Mario!

I loved Super Smash Bros. on the N64. My go-to character was Kirby; I loved how you could absorb the abilities of other characters. :ebil:

We are discussing reasons for the historically low marriage rates in another forum, particularly amongst millennials. The forum is primarily older men. They notice it w/ their older (millennial age) sons; why aren't their sons out chasing girls w/ their friends like they did at that age? Range of reasons are getting brought up.

Yoshi has always been my best character in the N64 version, but in Melee and Brawl my best character would probably be Pikachu overall (Yoshi was made somewhat weaker in those ones).

I only own Brawl. I like Samus, Pikachu, Mario, & Link. Yoshi is weaker in it, but I think he's my brother's favorite anyways.

I seem to remember Lucario being really good in that version.

Am I the only one that doesn't like all the third-party characters in Ultimate?? I guess my best friend doesn't either.

What did they say? The millennials I know are getting their finances in order, establishing careers, and traveling. Some live nomadically.

Watching the fallout from the pandemic and schools is difficult. I’m glad I don’t have small children.

I don't mind them having a couple third-party characters like Snake and Sonic in Brawl, but I think they might be going overboard in Ultimate, from what I've heard anyway. I don't even know anything about most of the DLC...

Picture: A young and hipper Fergie (of the Black-Eyed Peas) covering a much better song by a much better artist than Fergie herself became when she joined the Black-Eyed Peas.

(Debbie Gibson was awesome and the Black-Eyed Peas suck, is what I'm trying to say.)

... They still call me Will.I.Am at work sometimes because my first name is Will (William). =/

That’s a difficult song for a young developing voice unless she’s a true soprano. The notes would be easy for a high soprano with strong lungs and an ability to hold it longer than a few seconds. That takes practice.

I think this song is nice and still danceable years later. The first time I heard it was The Sims Urbz game.

No offense intended if you happened to like their music, of course, Bella.

(Trying to picture you and Little Miss taking over a club dance floor to that song "Let's Get It Started", by the way. ^_^ )

None taken. I don’t know their music and didn’t realize Will was in the group! But that’s a nice tune for dancing or a workout.

We don’t party together. She wanted to. But I said no. We dance at home of course.

A few years ago she got her chance. We went to a blogging conference together and attended the after party. The idea was nice until she realized I dance the same in public. I had a glass of wine in tow and it was too much. :cool:

I do know those on your list are true especially in the college-educated bracket, either students or grads. I saw it at college a lot.

Every reason under the sun got brought up in the thread. We've discussed some of them here before. (Keep in mind the demographic this group largely is)

*They're just not interested
* Low testosterone
* Online dating
* Being accused of a womanizer or worse
* inappropriate content
* Gender fluidity
* Couples living together thinking there's no real benefit in getting married -> "It's just a piece of paper"
* What's considered an ideal mate & men & women both not being able to live up to the standard
* Video games
* Not wanting kids
* Them realizing a ring doesn't bring happiness

Brawl is the best roster IMO.

I suspect that’s the primary reason.

* Them just realizing a ring doesn't bring happiness

And that’s close behind.

The more comfortable you become the less appealing marriage is. Especially for women. Relationships are wonderful. But they’re a source of stress and challenges. Things you don’t experience when you’re single.

Brawl is the best roster IMO.

What’s that?

Yes, but why is the question that got brought up. A couple said that reason can't stand on it's own.

And that’s close behind.
I've noticed this reason tends to be strong if their parents were divorced.
My parents never did, maybe that's why I still have a favorable view of marriage.

What’s that?

Possibly. But if you’re financially comfortable the picture changes.

I've noticed this reason tends to be strong if their parents were divorced. My parents never did, maybe that's why I still have a favorable view of marriage.

My parents divorced and my family never approved of my father but they accepted and loved him. He didn’t have our pedigree. Nevertheless, divorce wasn’t a mainstay of our history and they told her not to marry him.
