Can you site evidence that there has been a mistranslation of Matthew 10:8 please.

Sorry I meant Matt 10:8

Not one main stream translation disagrees with the rendition "Raise the dead"

Mmmm... I would need more substance to consider all translations are wrong...

Was Mark 16:17-18 not meant for all believers as well?

Peter Raised Tabitha from the dead...

Acts 9

36In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which is translated as Dorcas),e who was always occupied with works of kindness and charity. 37At that time, however, she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upper room. 38Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples heard that Peter was there and sent two men to urge him, “Come to us without delay.”39So Peter got up and went with them. On his arrival, they took him to the upper room. All the widows stood around him, weeping and showing him the tunics and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.40Then Peter sent them all out of the room. He knelt down and prayed, and turning toward her body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up. 41Peter took her by the hand and helped her up. Then he called the saints and widows and presented her to them alive.42This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord. 43And Peter stayed for several days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.

The anointing on Jesus was transferred to the Church after the resurrection - not just to the disciples.

The problem, if you read the commentary,
Reference....there is disagreement,
For a long time this was left out...then the meaning was ""dead in the soul, not body"
Then lastly, if jesus only did this several times, he did not have his desciples doing it,
Then questions if it was written as intended.
Then the artist...we are warned about such people...very few can see the future...and yet make drawings...pictures....selling the pictures....and takes "gifts" for speaking.

These people run the church...
But, i believe both are wrong....dead wrong but the people put on the show, and i am the the "stupid" one since I am new to the church.

Are the people dangerious ?
If so, how do i battle them to protect the church and other members ?

Jesus said last days there will be many prophets to deceive many
Just leave the church simple

Peter and Paul raised people from the dead. The Holy Spirit can work through people to heal or provide prophetic works, so it is possible that they are trying to have a genuine revival but I would be very cautious, since you are new to this church why not look into the background of the pastor.

There are commentaries that state Jesus didn't do deliverances either. But 1/3 of His miracles were setting people free.

We can't say Jesus didn't raise very many from the dead because "And there are also many other things which Jesus did. If they should be all recorded one by one [in detail], I suppose that even the world itself could not contain (have room for) the books that would be written." John 21:25

Artists in the church - few examples:
"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: 3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;" Exo 31

Then the First and Second Temples are considered magnificent, striking buildings Solomon spared no expense on the First Temple. There's too much info to list - some sources say there's 50 chapters about these structures dedicated to the Lord..

YesJesus said there would be false prophets which means there will be some true prophets of God's. "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues" I Cor 12 Plus "...it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" Acts 2:17

Definitely check out the church and what is planned. You know when listening to sermons, etc. we need to be attentive. I would pray and ask the Lord for His guidance - starting with myself. Of course, we may hear the opposite of our opinion.

How does God primarily use you with His spiritual gifts? Not in the prophetic? Every believer can be used according to I Cor 12:7.

" To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;" I Cor 12:9
