The author of the article, Bob Lonsberry is a Father of 9, Army veteran, marathon runner, NRA, member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lonsberry, 52, is a hard-line conservative who scorns “commie-lib” politicians, judges and journalists. A prolific writer, he files a daily blog column, which is emailed to supporters for $12 a year. A devout Mormon, he claims to never drink or gamble, but he was, at least for a while, excommunicated. He’s been married three times and has eight children.

Funny how the reputable media missed this story, but a right-wing sports reporter nailed it.

This man was in his late 50s. He was in his own bed. It is so heartbreaking. Please pray for this man's family.

Media Ignores Two Black Teens Setting Mentally-Ill White Man on Fire, Killing Him – OutKick

This doesn't fit the Leftist narrative propagated ad nauseum by the MSM. According to the Left, only the white man is capable of such evil, right? I suppose, if it were reported by the MSM, the teens would just be fighting back against the Great White Oppressor that is constantly keeping all blacks down - except for Obama, Ben Carson, Thomas Sowell, Condoleezza Rice, Candace Owens, Larry Elder, Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, Denzel Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Lawrence Fishburn, Will Smith, Jason Riley, the huge multitude of professional, multi-millionaire black athletes, the black mayors, military officers, police chiefs, professors, musicians, and on and on.

Racism and evil is a human condition. It has existed throughout human history in virtually every culture - including black ones.

I think we should get journalistic integrity back... until we do, I'm in a full on boycott...

Thanks to "information overload", WE the PEOPLE are the new journalists and we are doing a smashing job, IMO. Even our conspiracy theories have more fragments of truth than their so-called reporting. Some of the most truthful reporting being done today can be found in the YouTube COMMENTS section (minimal moderation)!

I will give props to some writers who cover non-political stories. They are actually professionals and write very clearly and engagingly.

Soooo let me get this straight...

Here's a thread about 2 black teens murdering a disabled man by setting him on fire BUT not one thread on the white man who murdered 8 Asians. Now why is that?

Oh okay...talk about agenda driven....uh huhn...

Well, here is the thing, and this is why I say that we can go to one extreme to the next. I have always shared things that have been done by white people. But I get accused of trying to make white people look bad. I happen to be black. I share something that black people have done, and I get accused of having a wrong agenda. I have shared tragedies that happen to both whites, blacks, and other races; but someone always has some kind of accusation. I don't get it. What is with you some of you people?

I am black and I have no other agenda but to pray for the man that got murdered. I did not share the one about the Asians because I assumed that somebody else shared it. It's all over the news. But in the past, I have shared other stories like the one that happened to the Asians. But when I do, other people go on the attack as well. They think that I am attacking white people. But that still will not keep from sharing. I am also not on here a lot. And I did not hear about the attack on Asians until yesterday, and I shared this on Thursday before I heard about the attack. And then I saw it all over the news.

These accusations are getting tiresome, especially when it's done by Christians. I am not a Christian. But I thought Christians are supposed to be more loving then that. I am not saying that you shouldn't speak the truth in love. Of course, when someone actually is wrong, tell them. But this was clear case of an accusation, and I did not deserve that. My motivation was to pray for this man.

Yes, in the beginning of the title I did say black teens. For I have never had a problem with mentioning race, even saying white man. But because of the times we are living, I get it, don't mention someone's race. It divides. Sometimes I forget that.

I am sorry that I went off on you. That wasn't right on my part. Accusing Christians and saying that I thought they were supposed to be more loving made me a hypocritical. I did the same thing that I said you were doing to me. I react sometimes when I am upset. But that is not an excuse.

I wish we can talk about these things without accusations and getting too emotional. That includes me not getting emotional. I know that I can be a little of a snowflake. But I am working on that. Not very well, but I am. I just wish that instead of accusing me of having a wrong agenda that you would just ask me what my motivations are. God can see my heart. And yes, I still struggle with sin in my life. But my motivation here was not evil.

First, I see no racial motivation behind the creation of the OP, he saw a newsworthy article and posted it for discussion - overall the person himself seems a very fair minded individual in no way motivated by racial considerations.

That said, the newsworthy murders to which you've referenced was not a racially motivated crime - so there's nothing to complain about on that front. The crime itself carries a death sentence in the state it was committed in whether it was racially motivated or not, (can't kill him twice) and the murderer himself confessed to the crimes and gave his motives on record.

As well, there were two white women killed along with the Asian sex workers - so race wasn't reason, he simply killed them all without regard to race which, asian or white, sex worker or not, is very sad.

His motivation, according to his statement, was that he had a sex addiction that he couldn't control, and killed them to avoid temptation - obvious mental health issues there.

So, any attempt by any journalist, politician, or talking head attempting to turn this into some kind of racially motivated hate crime is lying, and peddling racial animosity in our nation trying to divide us yet further.

While the incident is terribly sad, and crimes like this horrific, it's best to keep our perspective on the issues pure, and based in fact - lest we see more people murdered in their beds due to racial animosity that evil men peddle for breakfast.

Why do you think the article isn’t credible because the author is right-wing? The reported content is accurate irrespective of who wrote it.

I wouldn't advise you to take the law into your own hands -- unless you have a very good lawyer. The jury may declare you guilty and you'll spend a lot of time in prison.
Too many Good Samaritans have been put in prison for taking the law into their own hands. I'm not advocating for that, but I doubt that would be something that the poor guy being set on fire would would have been worrying about.

I bet he, at least, would have appreciated some help. Even if some judge might have later thrown his helper in jail, or the assailants sued the guy who helped him.

The reputable media didn't miss the story. The reputable media for which Lonsberry works (WHAM) reported on the story. Lonsberry observed that they didn't mention the races of anybody involved, so he made a thing about it.

The media didn't mention the races of anybody involved, but they did with the Atlanta shootings...

You're probably not going to like this but...

If you've ever noticed, usually when a crime is committed by a white person. “White” is hardly ever mentioned by the News. Instead they say man, woman, or teenager/child.

When you lead with the race of the perpetrator(s), a majority of the time there is an agenda that reinforces negative stereotypes in this case regarding African Americans. That's how the News and conservative talk radio has been controlling a negative narrative of African Americans for decades. They state our race up front, take the negative actions of a few and GENERALIZE them to the entire group, knowing that many white people(and others) don't interact with African Americans on a personal basis to really know who we are as individuals.

So as a group we are often viewed as criminals and immoral by many non-African Americans regardless as to whether they call themselves Christian or not. With some it fuels their hatred of ALL African Americans including those of us who are Born Again.

In part that's why some people make post like post #42. They never have anything to say against white supremacy except that it doesn't exist or that it's “something” black people are making up. To make their point they'll usually use “African American celebrities/political pundits” that they don't know personally and have only seen on TV or online because they can't speak from a place of being in real relationship with African Americans in real life.

It seems that you didn't think about any of this when you made this thread being an African American. That in and of itself is troubling for me and that's why I responded back to you. For the record, I don't know any African Americans who wouldn't be horrified by the actions of these teenagers and want the book thrown at them.

Now you don't need nor are you asking for my permission on how to post but you might want to keep in mind that especially when it comes to crime, white people are viewed as individuals while African Americans(as well as other people of color) are usually viewed as a group regardless of the actions of a few.
