I can't imagine what good would come from a protest, it's not like there's some government policy that can fix what random citizens may or may not think.

I think that rather than "increase it", protests instead tend to "expose it". the tensions were already there, but by lots of people showing up to protest it that: A) helps the people who are under attack to see that a lot of people are aware and are against the attacks. and B) shows the people who are doing the attacks that people don't agree with them.

There should be no protests at the moment cause we have a pandemic. Protests really frustrate me at the moment cause these people are spreading Covid 19 which means more lock-downs and damage to businesses.

I don't believe the comment to which your addressing in this response post was any personal attack against you... it was just general humor in relation to the few billion dollars worth of property damage and loss last summer compared to what this protest is more likely to be - peaceful.

What did Trump supporters have to do with any violent BLM and antifa protests last summer, absolutely zero. We all stayed home and watched as this nation's cities burned and government officials did not one thing to either stop it or protect people and businesses...

That's around when we got fairly upset with government officials - but even then you didn't see us running around burning down this nation wreaking havoc and causing billions of dollars of damage...

So calling Trump supporters (75+ million voters) violent is an outright lie. If we wanted to be violent it wouldn't be so difficult to miss... that's an awful lot of people who could definitely do some serious damage if we desired.

Some Trump supporters gatecrashed these protests thus stirring up tensions. Anti racism protests are usually peaceful until the far right mobs arrive and stir things up.

We are to understand that the existence of Trump supporters cannot fail to incite the extremists in the black uniforms to violence. That's why they come to the protests already armed and in riot gear.

The ones ordering the lockdowns are right up front, mask-less, during some of these protests, however. It's no wonder, then, that the public has doubts about the purpose for having any lockdowns.

That's actually not true at all... The left did billions in damage all on their own, and openly attacked any alleged detractors.

Lock-downs don't work. There is something sinister going on with this pandemic. Unless all our elected politicians are just stupid they seem to be doing everything to make things worse.
