Yeah this sort of thing goes on a lot. I'm talking about the media deliberately turning a blind eye to certain story lines for idealogical issues over race, not wanting to promote stereotypes etc. or when they do cover them they try to evade hate crimes angels etc.

I got to say when I lived in North Carolina I was generally appalled at the open looting that happened in neighborhoods that were on the coast with the hurricanes. With all the talk on "White Privilege" I never could get why we could never have an "honest discussion" on stuff like this....

I think the point is that they (media elites and those with far left mindsets) specifically don't want honest and open discussions...

Yep.

This kind of thing has been something I wanted to talk more on as far as the nonChristian boards on Politics and Current events especially on themes like "Fake News" etc. and that certain news stories from conservatives are always bogus etc. The Reason why "The Drudge Report" became the biggest news site on the internet ages ago, came from the Fact that Matt Drudge noticed that on the Newswire there are tons of good stories not being picked up by the mainstream media of the day, so he decided to have a news site that would air them.

But it's really hard to talk about this stuff. Because by and large the other side just wants to sneer, mock but otherwise not really engage. And well I'm kind of sick of that, and since this is a Christian web site the powers that be want you to behave yourself. So more or less it is better just to move on to a different board and topic.

Was there any evidence like a statement or graffiti that would indicate that this was a hate crime?

The list of reasons why people are killed is a mile long. It could have had everything or nothing to do with race. It could be a loan shark issue, robbery, revenge, thrill-seeking, some kind of initiation or who knows?

Murder is murder, wrong is wrong.

This occurred inside the man's home. It is not illegal to use lethal force to defend yourself or others from an immediate threat on private property. Please familiarize yourself with the law.

EDIT; Being unable to retreat is justification in all 50 states.

Everyone has the right to defend themselves and others from unlawful aggression. If some punks threw lighter fluid on me and pulled out a lighter, I'd shoot them in their center of mass and sleep like a baby. Here's a thread about 2 black teens murdering a disabled man by setting him on fire BUT not one thread on the white man who murdered 8 Asians. Now why is that?
