I have no idea about any of that. I know they went threw a bunch of financial upheavals a few years back due to trying to grow to big. But the original WND page seems better than it had been. I think they have had to slim way down and devote their attention to it.

Yeah, no. Not a fake news site. If I remember correctly it was the number 3 news site a few years on the internet back in the 90’s. May have been number 1, one year. Can’t remember for sure.
christian owned. Leftist love to site a couple crazy articles from them as if any news site that publishes 50 stories and opinion pieces a day for over 2 decades isn’t a going to have a few looney tunes story’s. Ever read the NYT?
Whenever anyone asks me for good conservative news sites I always suggest WND and CNS. Both Christian owned. CNS has broken hundred of story’s over the decades and is not an aggregate news site. They are their own news agency. The highest in quality and integrity.

This is actually very true. The word Liberal basically means free. A Classic liberal would be a LIBERTarian. Less government, more personal freedom, fight oppression.

What we have in the DFL is actually Progressivism. Forward-thinking and taking some liberty with "promote the common good." That quote from the Constitution could mean many things. So today's DFL party adopted Liberal as a name due to the personal freedom they promote (pro-choice, pro-gay marriage etc.). They do however promote more regulations for business practices which is not a Liberal value but a Progressive one. Workers' rights are Progressive more than classically Liberal.

So our political parties do not resemble the terms used to describe them. Both political parties in the USA have aspects of Liberal and Authoritarian values. GOP being liberal (meaning desire more freedom less regulation) on business but authoritarian on issues of abortion and gay marriage etc. Same with the DFL. Liberal on personal freedom issues and authoritarian on business and environmental regulations.

I think Progressive and Conservative describe our parties better than Left or Right Wing. I found this interesting. It looks like an ok way to look at some of this. The whole DFL, GOP, Liberal, and Conservative don't describe personal politics as well as countries with 5-7 established parties. Like in the UK there is a Green party and a Labour party. Here it's the same party even though they are two totally different issues.

Have looked it over daily since the 1990’s. Great news source. The slander about it is just that. Slander and libel. They did go through a rough patch when they got to big. People didn’t get paid. Yes that’s a sin. No such thing as perfect. If you want a news source that is probably the closest thing on earth to perfect. That would be CNS. Also read them daily since the 90’s. Also Christian owned. An actual news agency that has broken many stories over the decades. Deals strictly with important stuff. No fluff whatsoever.
