I believe in christ but I wondered what psalm 16 shown below means when it says drink offerings of blood I will not offer and I wondered if that is a reason why others thought they have reason to reject Jesus as messiah but what was meant was drink offerings of blood of pagan ritual of mixing blood of animals with wine or offering sacrifices to a false god for one was condemned for following a God you have no proof is true and one had known true God for He revealed Himself to them to know is true for I think others drunk wine for passover though even if not Jesus shows He is the truth the true Passover lamb and so it would be necessary to partake of His blood spiritually and therefore nothing wrong with drinking wine to resemble christ blood or to drink His blood because he is the true God and such blood can not give life to Spirit unless you believe in Him to drink it as He mentioned He intended it to be received spiritually but He also accepts people to believe they should do so in an ordinance as He is the true God

but Jesus is God as He was prophesied to die

Psalm 16 below explains their sorrows shall be multiplied who follow after another god how it shows how it becomes more difficult to come back to Christ if one leaves Him because one will be given greater sufferings or one coming back to Christ will be accompanied with sufferings or it may be harder to come back to believe without more struggle and it is only keeping fixed to God can save one as He is the portion of the inheritance and He will show the path to God. Or perhaps it means if person leaves Christ after one knows Him they will have greater sorrow than never knowing Him if one does not turn back and one may not always have chance to repent such as those who receive the mark of the beast.

These scriptures are clear Jesus would die for people psalm 22 isaiah 52:13-15 Isaiah 53 zechariah 12:10 Isaiah 53 Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 7:13

Zechariah 12:10 (A)“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will (B)look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him (C)as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

The one whom they pierced is clearly God and he could not be a son unless He lived among them as the prophecies also say the messiah God will live among them as it says unto us a son is given unto us a child is born and this is name He will be called everlasting Father prince of peace and Daniel says messiah will be cut off they would not be mourning for Him and as though for a first born son unless He would have died. Isaiah 52:13-15 and Isaiah 53 are clear that this suffering servant would be an actual atonement for others sins as a person can not die to save others or himself as he is not fully righteous himself and only God could pay the penalty to bring man back to God as the sins of man require infinite punishment which only God can pay. People need knowledge to be justified thus it is not merely to die for people for them to choose to repent of sin

Daniel shows Jesus though being God as Son of God because He took on flesh and He is brought to ancient of days to show His oneness with the ancient of days and to reveal the ancient of days to others and to Daniel it is revealed it would be one like the Son of Man that would allow one to see the Father.

Daniel 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.The end of it shall be with a flood,And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

Daniel 7:13-14
13 “I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him.14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.His dominion is an everlasting dominion,Which shall not pass away,And His kingdom the oneWhich shall not be destroyed

Isaiah 9:6
6 For unto us a Child is born,Unto us a Son is given;And the government will be upon His shoulder.And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Psalm 16
1 Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.2 O my soul, you have said to the LORD, “You are my Lord,My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
3 As for the saints who are on the earth,
“They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.”4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god;Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer,Nor take up their names on my lips.5 O LORD, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;You maintain my lot.6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;Yes, I have a good inheritance.
7 I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel;My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.8 I have set the LORD always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;My flesh also will rest in hope.10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.11 You will show me the path of life;In Your presence is fullness of joy;At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Christ calls all to Him He speaks to all who are wanting the truth if they don’t want to hear it means they did not want to accept Him if people really did not know Christ will if they never heard His will for them then they would not be judged. But it is Christian teaching that we believe in that everyone is witnessed to and God makes sure everyone knows what is required of them and people are judged according to what they know so all are judged by the knowledge they have and because Christ is fair He will give all the knowledge required for people to know to everyone and people are judged from what they know they should be required to do. Christ convicts everyone in their life about Him He draws all men to Him all people really are convicted of their unbelief and know they have no excuse not to believe but they do not want to believe they don’t want it to be true because they don’t want to follow Him so they convince themselves it is not true so everyone knew but they can deceive themselves and God may allow others to deceive them because God wants them to choose Him because they want the truth. But all people will be given their fair chances to see the truth and some may get it later in life but that does not mean we should not preach for God has allowed others to have better chances through us to allow them to have more than the fair chances if they reject their chances so that we can help them see the truth. But all have responsibity to be seeking for the truth for God has shown it to others before so
Jesus said to those who believed in Him if you abide in My word you are My disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
But we should not judge others because they could have accepted the truth at the end. Christ can require more of those who knew more to make it harder for them to know and do His will before they die but those who did not know He can choose to make it easier for them to know the truth and accept them at the end

Ofcourse the condemnation of drink offerings of blood refers to just offering a sacrifice to a false god but Jesus proves He is God by fulfilled prophecies and His miracles which also none were able to prove He is false for God exposes all false prophets and was required first to judge them and they could not bring true testimony so a person is not to be condemned if none could prove Him wrong drinking blood is only prohibited in general because such a behaviour shows that people are vicious but we do not partake of Christ because we seek to be cruel but He offers Himself for our healing

This is another strong prophecy about Jesus. It shows that the ruler and messiah the son of David and the one Daniel talks about the son of man kingdom given to is Himself from everlasting so he is God not man yet it mentions because he is on earth He depends on His Father as it says He shall feed His flock in the strength of the Lord and in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God and it shows He is God as He does it in the strength of the Lord and it is His flock which no one is actually a man flock unless it is God

Micah 5:2-4
2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”
3 Therefore He shall give them up,
Until the time that she who is in labor has given birth;
Then the remnant of His brethren
Shall return to the children of Israel.
4 And He shall stand and feed His flock
In the strength of the LORD,
In the majesty of the name of the LORD His God;
And they shall abide,
For now He shall be great
To the ends of the earth;

people have no excuse not to believe as prophecies in Old Testament testify of Jesus Daniel talks about Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven having a kingdom that all nations must serve Him which shall not be destroyed and Daniel says 70 weeks were determined for the purpose to bring end of sins so the sacrifices could not end sins to make reconciliation for iniquity that is to bring in everlasting righteousness that is to take away sins and says Messiah will be cut off not for himself but Jews do not believe their messiah will be cut off and if they suppose he can be and rise and rule continually a man can not take away sins unless He be God

New article tries to deceive people who do not seek the truth for themselves to know mentioning about feast of tabernacles

Sanhedrin begins to prepare oil to anoint King Messiah/Kohen Gadol

The sabbath and new moon that is celebrated at end will be when jesus comes back in millienial kingdom probably on new earth there will be a designated day where flesh comes to worship before God it is called a sabbath because it is a designated day on earth to be set apart for full worship just as it was before on earth one could not actually enjoy the true sabbath but then you do in heaven

when it says to the eunuch who keep from defiling my sabbaths I will make them joyful in My house of prayer and accept their burnt offerings that refers to before the apperance of messiah it is twisted to mean God required people to keep sabbath and they will be required to at the end and that burnt offerings will be required but that was written to those eunuchs before coming of 2nd temple

I do believe sabbath still should be kept but it is not for salvation but it should be kept because it is a commanded day of rest that God made and blessed it was made for man to help others to give them day off to rest as Christian we know it is not required for us as we know the Lord day is set apart for worship but God may have still blessed sabbath as He commanded it it may be for private worship for them to rest Lord day was just for community gathering but we are not obliged to keep it as it is not a command given to us to be justified for it it was just made for man to be a blessing it was given to Jews when Old covenant was effect in their generations and it is now fulfilled in Jesus

The feast of tabernacles was celebrated by Jesus showing those who accept Him keep His feast in actuality and not just the type it represented before it is going to be done on a day when jews accept Messiah who before delivered them from bondage in egypt as representation of the true deliverance from spiritual bondage brought by Jesus which is really what God intended when He delivered them from egypt the feast was celebrated before the water that God brought from the rock for the israelites now jesus fulfilled that type in bringing the Holy Spirit they will fulfill the feast of tabernacles in its actuality a day set apart like day of pentecost to thank the Lord for His Spiritual deliverance they are to celebrate the feast of tabernacles that is the dwelling of God with man together with the israelites the gift of God when He is poured on house of israel when kingdom is delivered to them for others to also by celebrating with the jews to be blessed.

In book answering Jewish objections to Jesus it mentions Jesus was never against burnt offering and sacrifices but that to offer them with unrepentant heart is wrong.

If Jews still had been under the old covenant they should still have their temple but it was taken away because they were no longer in proper relation with God. I can see that burnt offerings could be offered not as a means to forgive sin but thanksgiving offerings from best you have and I suppose they are animals too but it is never to take away sins as Daniel says 70 weeks we’re determined to make an end of sins and to anoint the Most Holy and it says in those 70 weeks to do so Messiah comes that He will do so by being cut off not for Himself as Messiah is not the one who makes a covenant with others for a week therefore the animals could not take away sins but were just temporary or it would not be mentioned to make end of sins which implies end of need of sacrifices.

Jesus said you offer tithe of anise mint as law says but neglect justice mercy and faith these you ought to have done without leaving the others undone so law was still in effect.

As a psalm says burnt offering and sin offering you did not require.

It says it is not required so to say gentiles need to do it is wrong

The law also does not require it so it is wrong to offer them now if God has not said to do so that He accepts it.

The bible says at end God will take some for priests and Levites but as one commentary I read Barnes commentary he does not think it is literal Levites as only descendants of Levi we’re Levite’s and Aaron descendants were priests and some Levite’s and it says from all dispersed in nations God will choose some when He brings them back for restoration so the restoration comes from God not from man.

It could be as mentioned in revelations where it says God seals from the 12 tribes of Israel where it says God makes them priests perhaps some of them will act as Levite’s maybe not being descended from Levi or maybe there will be some descended from them to act as Levite’s to offer sacrifices but not so as to believe it itself can forgive sins but to offer according to law as thanksgiving for forgiveness of sins the best you had not as though necessary as God never required sacrifices for sin absolutely at all times just expected for certain time but He could forgive sin without it at times as it is not itself something that can take away sins. And it is not required anymore. If He established a priesthood and Levite’s at end it would not be as a requirement anymore as that type is fulfilled but they will be consecrated to do so for religious service as sacrifice pleasing to God to give blessing but not as though required.

But it could just mean God will appoint some from children of Aaron or dispersed Jews to offer religious service on behalf of people for their own forgiveness by being able to have a word from God to hear Him as they minister in congregations God gives them to know what people must do to repent. It could be God will make order for people to choose some as like apostles to know from God a word of time for people to obey to minister His word which is sacrifice as Levite’s did not just offer animals or Levite could offer animals not to take away sin but as an offering pleasing to God as intercession not as though itself can take away sin.

Isaiah 66:20-21
20 Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to the LORD out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the LORD, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. 21 And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites,” says the LORD

I suppose Isaiah 66:20-21 could also refer to time when 2nd temple will be built as Isaiah 66 starts with the question God asks what is the house you will build for Me so they were wanting to build second temple which they would build after and Isaiah was therefore prophesying of the next temple where there will be priests and Levites.

There was some good priests like Zechariah and some good priests before Jesus came probably maybe those who brought St Mary to the temple were good if they followed God they knew St Mary was to be devoted to God even though they did not know her future they would believe the truth when they heard John testify of Christ as they knew Elizabeth was barren before and gave birth in old age.

some of the chapter talks about the end when it talks about judgement that will happen that is judgement of fire and sword against all who at end will be enemies of God not converted who will fight all the remnant of Jews who turn to God and those who support them the gentile Christians.

But before that is the process of restoration that starts with second temple to prepare for Christ to come to it to save those who are looking for redemption to save the Israelites who were or will be looking for redemption and the truth to help them at end when all Israel knows the truth when God removes blindness from many of Israel when fullness of gentiles comes in.

Many will seek Him then when last gentiles are converted and God shows favour to them they will seek Him then from God action and then find Him and those who accept Him He will comfort them who are afflicted and looking for comfort and salvation and those in trouble from their trials and afflictions brought by their enemies to tell of home at end for the redeemed in new earth and heavens.

It says in John 12:42-43 many believed in Him but did not confess Him but some would have the righteous people before would have confessed Him if they were righteous people that obeyed God just like Simeon did which I don’t know if he is a priest but a scribe who followed God.

John 12:42-43
42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; 43 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

The true messiah comes in humility not to persecute those who do not follow him.

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”
Zechariah 9:9

I believe the prophecy about I will take some of them for priests and levites either refers to second temple period before Christ came when it was first built or refers to end during tribulation when many of Israel turn to Jesus that is all Israel God will restore kingdom to them He will set some apart to have authority and postion to pray on behalf of people to be priests and some to be helpers of religious service which is what levites are. I think Jews will seek to teach the people which is a deception for them to act as priests and levites now in new temple to apply it to themselves

The below was clearly done by Jesus when He came this messiah is clearly not a man so if he is a son of David he is not a man though perhaps refers to no man among nations that were ruling among Israel to speak for what is right and no man among Israel that would fight it to allow people to worship idols so there was no man so God sent one who does not have origin from man Jesus brought good tidings to the people in Jerusalem who were oppressed by leaders to put judgements on them the law has not said to seek to turn people away from what is right to hinder them from going to heaven which Jesus taught God did not approve when He came and He gave light to the gentiles.

Isaiah 42:27-29
27 The first time I said to Zion,
‘Look, there they are!’
And I will give to Jerusalem one who brings good tidings.
28 For I looked, and there was no man;
I looked among them, but there was no counselor,
Who, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
29 Indeed they are all worthless;
Their works are nothing;
Their molded images are wind and confusion.
Isaiah 43:1-9
The Servant of the LORD
1 “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,
My Elect One in whom My soul delights!
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,
Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench;
He will bring forth justice for truth.
4 He will not fail nor be discouraged,
Till He has established justice in the earth;
And the coastlands shall wait for His law.”
5 Thus says God the LORD,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,
Who gives breath to the people on it,
And spirit to those who walk on it:
6 “I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the Gentiles,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
8 I am the LORD, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you

There is no excuse at all to reject Christ that there would only be which no one has if others have proven He is not true for God is just not to judge people with sincerity as you can not know He is not true that He comes in the name of the Lord not another god that He is God. God only tested people loyalty to what they knew was true to leave what they had seen that the other god contradicts Him to know it is not Him that because God had godly jealously over Jerusalem that is to be faithful to prove even when they turned to other idols wrongfully He sought their repentance to prove they are false if they didnt know and He is true to give them chance to go back.

I want to prove truth because it saddens me when others turn away as song called where it says here I am Lord after saying I have heard my people cry whom shall I send I have wept for love of them they turn away.

That there needs to be missionaries to prove to help with questions such as prophecy of temple in Ezekiel if it referred to a third temple and not second why is there sacrifices but it seems it refers to in millennium because some would not have heard of Christ yet so will be allowed or if not then when they build it because they do not know now so just allowing all Jews to have temple whoever the prince is not that God sees it as valid but they will later see that the Lord does not require from them sacrifice to take away sin though they could have as for remembering and thanksgiving but not to justify to worship in Spirit and truth and the Prince to eat sacrifices could refer to just prince living then when antichrist is there or to evil prince being antichrist or to Jesus in millennium as He said destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it as He said what house will you build for me that I live everywhere. Also sacrifices could be made not as sin offering as only Jesus can take sin but to help to remember one sins that Jesus did but already we know there is no excuse as many prophecies only Jesus could fulfill.
