I seriously doubt that. The statistics are what they are, regardless of biblical jots & tittles.Would I be correct if I said they pick (or make up) any formula that challenges every jot & tittle of the Bible?
Such as the Bible verses that speak of evil increasing as the time draws near?
If that's the case, from this day forward, I know you as Genghis Khan.If Buddhism teaches morals, I'm Genghis Khan.
Too many missing pieces in the two species that I studied.I had trouble with the violin. Takes time study and willingness
to try.
General relativity predicts so much but ultimately falls short. So does special relativity.Being skeptical is good, it is skepticism that drives science to develop and test hypothesis that better explain the evidence and to make predictions.
I cannot accept that the universe exists without a first or primary cause. Nothing ever just happens without some level of causation. Nor do I accept the existence of the human race was not a planned event. Far too much fine tuning all the way through. I will gladly tick the deity box.In my book it's a crime. Sins are indeed imaginary offenses to an equally imaginary deity.
General relativity predicts so much but ultimately falls short. So does special relativity.
Me very skeptical, me ignore Big Bang, general relativity and special relativity. Throw the evolutionary text books in with the others. Monkey not know anything yet.
Buidling a worldview based on cause and effect, leads to inconsistency.I cannot accept that the universe exists without a first or primary cause. Nothing ever just happens without some level of causation. Nor do I accept the existence of the human race was not a planned event. Far too much fine tuning all the way through. I will gladly tick the deity box.
Appears skepticism is wasted on you. All that is necessary for you is to not question your beliefs.General relativity predicts so much but ultimately falls short. So does special relativity.

Nothing except forI cannot accept that the universe exists without a first or primary cause. Nothing ever just happens without some level of causation. Nothing is uncaused except..... God.I cannot accept that the universe exists without a first or primary cause. Nothing ever just happens without some level of causation. Nor do I accept the existence of the human race was not a planned event. Far too much fine tuning all the way through. I will gladly tick the deity box.
Who cares if the argument is convincing or not. That is what I believe.Nothing is uncaused except..... God.
Special pleading is not a convincing argument.
Not weird, perhaps beyond your understanding.Nothing except for
The uncaused causing- thing.
Which happens to be bigger than the universe.
Weird.
Trivial information and technology. How about dealing with the big questions.Quantum mechanics + Special Relativity → Quantum Electrodynamics → Development of transistor → Development of personal computer ≠ A monkey typing on a personal computer stating special relativity falls short.
Similarly;
General Relativity → Gravitational time dilation → Pound-Rebka experiment → Hafele-Keating experiment → GPS time corrections ≠ Don’t use GPS for directions because a monkey states general relativity falls short.
All people are inherently unacceptable to God, "good" or "bad". When God saves someone, He removes the old heart of man (spiritual, of course) and gives them a new heart. Jesus comes to live in that individual. If they are willing, Jesus will cause them to be loving, kind, patient, faithful - all the qualities that are admirable and good - and acceptable to God. Christians can and do fail from time to time. That is a good thing. It usually causes believers to become more dependent on Christ and therefore more able to express the nature of Christ.Cop out.
Unless I’m very much mistaken I don’t think Christianity is a get out clause for being a bad person.
There are two big questions here.Trivial information and technology. How about dealing with the big questions.
General Relativity is limited, in that, it is a construct of the human mind. It may seem important to you that you can know your location, with a GPS. That GPS application supports the concept of General Relativity but does that then mean. That General Relativity is a valid theory that will not one day be discarded? There are two big questions here.
(1) Explain how computers and GPS function if relativity falls short?
(2) How are monkeys capable of making informed comments?
Jesus arrived to enable the bad people to become saints. Jesus did not arrive to rescue those people, who see themselves as good people.Cop out.
