I know the only way to stop a war is to stop fighting.

I'm not the judge of another man's ministry, that is God's Divine place, not mine.

Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

If it doesn't fit the clear command from Paul, I just let it go.

There absolutely are good and spirit filled Pastors in our faith, it's time for many to seek them out and find them, and leave those who don't know Him behind. :)

A little pruning does the garden a world of good. We're really very blessed. The Lord has revealed in one clear moment who are sheep and who are wolves in sheep's clothing. Let's hope the church uses this moment because time is short, the Lord is coming soon.

One of the reasons I think these prophecies were clearly so wrong was the wrong theology they were based on. Kat Kerr for example talked about the special covenant God had with the USA and all the blessing that were going to happen in the USA in the next 100 years. But that time frame cannot be guaranteed. Who is to say the Lord cannot return well before that 100 year time frame? Certainly not Kat Kerr. And lest we forget God's covenant with Israel, he has done this for no other nation (Psalm 147:20).

God Bless :)

Was it Jonathan Cahn that started this strange theology in The Harbinger in 2011 and followed it in other books? He cater referred to Trump as the a type of Jehu, king of Israel who is noted for killing Jezebel, Wicked Witch of the West, and exterminating the house of Clinton!!!

In control of Samaria, Jehu invited the worshippers of Baal to a ceremony, trapped and killed them. After that, he destroyed their idols and temple, and turned the temple into a latrine.

I understood all this as harmless fun, until on Jan 6th it seemed that some pople took it seriously.

Hi Andrewn. Yes, I think it is a mistake to identify a modern country with Israel under the Mosaic Covenant.

As citizens of heaven and strangers in the world we're not here to seize power and force the population to follow the Law of Moses. We're here to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and save souls until the Lord returns.

God Bless :)

I feel for Johnson. I wouldn't think of cussing anyone out or getting nasty with them. I don't care if it was some atheist getting in my face calling me a fool and being disrespectful or a progressive who claims to believe in Jesus but states that all go to heaven and abortion and sinful lifestyles are ok. Everyone who is being disrespectful to anyone else regarding this or, really, anything else is breaking the second most important commandment.

Have any of those who gave false prophecies retired from teaching?

Hello Daniel, I don't think they can:

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
(2 Timothy 3:13).

False prophets and impostors are on a path, deceiving and being deceived, they will go from bad to worse, they can't repent or change. All that can be done is for God's people to exercise discernment over these impostors, turn off their channels, don't buy their books. Don't waste oxygen on them. The Lord is coming very soon, part of the Spiritual battle in these last days is deception. We are on the side of Truth and can have no fellowship with lies.
This sounds a little strong but remember the scriptures always divides people into two camps- the righteous and the wicked, children of light and those in darkness, those on the side of truth and those on the side of falsehood. There is no grey area, no half truth, no neutrals. God Bless :)

Could someone please list those who gave false prophecies and what the false prophecy was? Thanks, Daniel

Those who gave "false" prophecies.... Aren't there some prophets who are sticking to what they've said and even giving out even further details through prophecy and saying that President Trump is God's anointed for the presidency, that he did win the election, and he will legally be brought back into office--and not in 4 years time at a new election? There's Kim Clement--who can no longer comment, but I know of Hank Kunneman, Kat Kerr, and I think there might be more. Could all the prominent prophets--who have a proven track record of accuracy--I think Hank Kunneman is one--could they all have really no idea what the voice of God was speaking?

Randy Clark intervened to interview some of the erring prophets to assess and correct the issue openly. I think the video in online.

Thank you. I've watched some of the clip but it's heavy going and filled with jargon- 'seven mountain mandate!?'. The transcript of the podcast must be longer than the book of Revelation. Perhaps some more fundamental questions need to be asked. They seem to be building prophetic words upon prophetic words. I agree that Jesus said his KIngdom is not of this world, so how does dominionist authority fit in with that? God Bless :)

Charismatics Issue ‘Prophetic Standards’ to Address False Trump Prophecies
"In fact, the majority of movement prophets declined to sign. Some, Brown said, were part of ministry networks that would not allow them to sign; others did not give reasons although, he added wryly, “I did tell them the ABSENCE of their names would speak loudly as well.”

"Some of the holdouts include people who still insist Trump will be reinstalled as president this year, including Florida prophetess Kat Kerr, California evangelist Johnny Enlow, and Jeff Jansen of the Nashville-based Global Fire Ministries. Steve Schultz of the Albany, Ore.-based Elijah List, who hosts many pro-Trump prophets on his Elijah Streams YouTube channel, also didn’t sign."

It is possible since the bible in one passage can be interpreted as describing prophets as higher than pastors in the pecking order, (where only apostles are higher) prophets have been avoiding being responsible to anyone since the movement began.

At least that's the sense I get from the application currently, as it is.
