The days are evil !

making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. -Ephesians 5:16

Why the days are called evil ?

From the above verses, not only the days are evil but also a crooked and twisted generation, and or faithless and twisted generation ! Any ideas on how to best use of our time these days or this generation ?

Don’t we need more love of God among us to cast all fear of evil ? Yes, we do !

Don’t we need the Lord to keep us from all evil ? Yes, we do !

You quoted that in the last days perilous times will come. Aren’t we in the last days ? Likewise, we have heard:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? -Romans 8:35

Isn’t perilous times danger ? How much more we need the love of Christ among us ?

Likewise, we have heard:

For I am sure that neither death ...nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, -Romans 8:38
..., will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8:39

Aren’t we concerned with many deaths around the world ? Aren’t we concerned with rulers in all nations or authorities in all nations? Aren’t we concerned with things present spoken by people and those in media ? Aren’t there people who speaks about things to come ? But where is the love of Christ among us ?

This is what we have heard:
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. -1 John 4:9

Let the love of God is made manifest among us; let us live through His love, that is Christ Jesus our Lord.

For you have quoted: 1 Corinthians 7:29 - But this I say, brethren, the time is short

Let us the best of our time, let us live through the love of Christ so that in this the love of God is made manifest among us.

Have not the Lord Himself said this to us :

I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have TRIBULATION. But take heart; I have overcome the world." -John 16:33

Haven’t our Lord overcome the world ?

Doesn’t He said to us to take heart !

Though we may have tribulation, in union with Christ, the Lord grant us the peace; He grants us the comfort of His love that bring peace to our hearts.

Therefore, let love of God is made manifest among us, then our love in Christ can cast all fear of evil !

Dear one,

How are we going to withstand in the evil day ? Don’t we need the love of
Christ? Yes, we do !

Here is what we have heard of His grace :

3 For although we do live in the world, we do not wage war in a worldly way; 4 because the weapons we use to wage war are not worldly. On the contrary, they have God’s power for demolishing strongholds. We demolish arguments 5 and every arrogance that raises itself up against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey the Messiah. 6 And when you have become completely obedient, then we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience.-2 Corinthians 10:3-6 CJB

Isn’t that grace ? Yes
Isn’t that love of Christ ? Yes
Isn’t God give us hope as we stand against the Adversary? Yes

The days that are evil. In the last days there are many evil people. We may have acquainted with them and may not be friend.
How to be wise while we are among them.

More than ever, we need the Holy Spirit’s help to keep us from all evil.

More than ever, we need the Holy Spirit’s grace to strengthen our hearts.
Why ? How we can bear with those are evil?
Unless the Lord is with us.

More than ever in perilous times, how we can be wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus? Unless the Spirit of His Word teach us all thing that the Father and the Son has said and done.

Let us consider what Moses has spoken to all elders of the tribes and officers :

Why it is important to consider what God has said, even though He may be angry.

So where is the steadfast love of the Lord when He said to Moses:

The days that are evil. Our God with us is very important. Why? This is what we have heard:
The LORD will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. -Psalms 121:7

Can anyone share their experiences or what they understand “God with us”.

Are we not called to build up each other in love ? Let share what means that God with us.

For we all need God with us in the days that are evil.

Let us remember what our Lord have said :

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." -Joshua 1:9

In the days that are evil, more than ever we need to be strengthen in the Lord !

In the days that are evil, more than ever we need to be encouraged in the Lord !

For the Lord have commanded us not to fear in the days that are evil ! Why ? Because the Lord our God is with us !

For the Lord have commanded us not to be dismay in the days that are evil ! Are we afraid of the unexpected ? Why ? He has commanded not to dismay because He is our God.

How important God is with us, for us than ever !

This is what we have heard:
The LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us, -1 Kings 8:57

Likewise, we have heard:
For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. -1 Corinthians 4:15

Yes, the apostles have become our fathers through the gospel!

So the promise in 1 King 8:57 is still relevant to us !
The LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers ( the apostles through the gospel ). May the Lord our God not leave us or forsake us.

Let understand more what it means that God is with us ! Please share with us all.
