Broke up with bf, still dealing with crappy family, still have deep resentment for God.
Not sure how to start over with God bc i dont have faith he will help me just do what he wants despite how I feel.
Dear one,
Would you consider unthoughtfulness as the source of your afflictions and sufferings !
Isn’t it unthoughtfulness that break relationship apart ? or put one’s relationship with others at a distance or cold or put a dividing wall !
How do unthoughtfulness hurt others ?
Isn’t it when those close to you or those whom you are called to love are being unthoughtful toward you and hurt you.
Why it hurts? Why it pains ?
It is because those close to you or whom you love or whom you called to love insist on their own righteousness.
Many people are blind in their own self righteousness that they don’t realize they hurt others whom they are supposed to be careful in love; They don’t know what they are saying or doing !
How do we resolve this ? Do we blame on God ? Then all troubles are fixed ! No, it is the other way around. We need the Lord’s help to deliver us out of our distress.
Who would be so willing to take our burden daily as our God ?
This is what we have heard:
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah -Psalms 68:19
What do the Lord bear up ? Yes, it is our afflictions, sufferings and sins.
For this is what we have heard:
Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. -Psalms 25:18
Are we sure about that ? This is what we have heard what Jesus have said in His own words:
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. -Matthew 11:29
Why do the Lord ask us to take His yoke ? Because He has been saying to us that He is willing to bear our suffering together!
Are we sure that his yoke means that He is willing to suffer with us ? Likewise we have heard:
and if children, then heirs'heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided
we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him. -Romans 8:17
Yes, likewise, we are told to consider our afflictions and our sufferings by apostle
Peter:
For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. -1 Peter 2:20
So dear one, consider your afflictions and sufferings with your bf and family. Are you suffering for what is wrong or for what is right ? Even if you suffer for what is wrong, like every one else, we need to repent, and come to the Lord’s grace. But if you have suffer for what is right or righteousness’ sake, then you have suffered for Christ’s sake; God looks on you with favor.
So dear one, why you hate God so much ? Don’t you perceive His love? That He is willing to suffer with you and help you ! Why are you hating God the One who is so thoughtful to you ?
Aren’t you looking for peace of heart in your relationship ? Why hate God who can bring peace and healing in our relationship ?
Yes, those whom you love may have hurt you for being unthoughtful ? Then is it healing in relationship, when those whom you love turn and start being thoughtful to you.
What is thoughtful?
Being thoughtful is not to put our rightness or other’s rightness first but just want to be thoughtful toward others because of we owe much love whom the Lord calls us to love.
Being thoughtful is to be careful in words or deeds with those whom the Lord calls us to love.
Being thoughtful is because we want to build a lasting memory of love, affection and care with those whom the Lord calls us to love.
When we are filled with God’s thoughtfulness of His love, we gain the strength to forgive those who wrong us including those whom the Lord calls us to love. Yes, we gain the Lord’s strength to love whom we find it impossible to love.
Let us love God not hate Him; for God who gives us strength to us, His people and He is also the One who bless us with His peace.
Dear one, don’t be disheartened. Trust the Lord our Shepherd who can carry us through difficult times.
May you put hope in God’s word.
Be reconciled to God.
