A young woman I sponsored attempted suicide this week. She survived and will be ok physically, Glory to God. She has been moved to a facility where she will receive professional opinions and such. Obviously, she'll be there a week or two at the least. When she gets out, she won't have a job, her lease is up and she won't have a home to go to and maybe will have lost her belongings. Her car may get repo'd, too. She has little family and they fight too much for her to stay with them. She is facing some incredibly harsh circumstances.

Please please pray for her, for the situation and for local charities and resources that can help her through this. If anyone has any resources they could recommend I'd be so very grateful.

Lord have mercy!

If you are able, you might speak with the social workers at the hospital that handle discharges of these natures and find out what programs are available.
