I did read article not just what's posted in post one
I think it’s strange how you keep changing the whole content of your posts over and over again. Why do you do that all the time? I’m just curious.

author quoted therapist who writes from a "purely secular" viewpoint & believes woman are slaves:

"In fact—said Hargot, whose point of view is purely secular—the revolution that supposedly took place thirty years ago led to obedience to another, in which women remain slaves."

I don't see that quote in the article. Where are you seeing it?

I’m very sorry @mama2one. I thought you were acting strangely and I’m sorry if I did anything to make your struggle today worse. I have no issues with differing opinions but I do have issues with how they are delivered. Disagreeing with someone does not make me dislike the person I disagree with. So again, I apologize for any discomfort I caused you by posting this op.

I think I just posted where she advises starting to educate your children early on.

That's what I did with my children - I never hid anything from them. They knew about my menstrual cycle and other such things as young children. My daughter was familiar with these topics by the time she reached that age herself.

Speaking about the importance of keeping/protecting their virginity until marriage began as young children, and continued (albeit in more intensified fashion) into their teens.

My children knew there was nothing they couldn't tell me, or ask me and get an honest, forthright, intelligent and informative answer...

Not everyone does this, but I agree with this psychologist. Starting young and hiding nothing is the best way. My children grew to be very well rounded individuals.

Even after marriage my daughter continued to discuss issues she felt important with me, and I was always open with her. (My son has chosen celibacy for the time being, and remains unmarried.) I think this openness was an important part of their growing up.

My mom raised me the same as far as information. Of course it should be presented in the context of our belief system but all children need to be educated to protect themselves and be aware of changes as they develop. Sounds like you did a good job. Having an open line of communication with your children is priceless.
