You guys are acting like you can't see the snake face in the auditorium. Is this picture stretched? Does the Pope look obese? The Pope has a snake theme! Just accept it and see what he is making obvious to the world. Is it unfortunate? Yes. Very. It is disturbing. For Catholics who are true Christians, I am sorry that he has gone this route. You guys deserve better, and he is going out of his way to make something obvious. What that is you need to decide for yourselves and come to terms with it. Maybe he is not the best man for the holy position because the only one distorting anything is Pope Frances himself.

Surely, you do not think the second picture is real? The one with Francis and the snake?

You need to stop watching or reading all the false rubbish spouted about the Catholic church.

Anyone can see the pictures you presented are vastly distorted.

Even the 2nd picture is a photoshoped image!

I believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. I am waiting for Him to come in the clouds of Glory so we can be with Him with the promise of eternal life for those who are saved. I can’t wait for Him to come so we will no longer have to be in a world filled with sin.

This is a side view, the windows are on the sides when you are looking straight at the pope with the full view angle.

Just out of curiosity, if it turns out that the pope intended for it to look like a serpent, would it change your view of anything?

But they are made to appear to be on the same plane as the Pope in the distorted picture. In reality, they are on different walls at opposite sides of the room and face each other. That destroys any claim of the scene looking like a face.

I absolutely love the Pontifical Swiss Guard. Those are the oldest, heaviest and most expensive military uniforms in the world. I believe they were designed by Michaelangelo.

You really can't tell anything from the side view. We need to see it looking straight on. Maybe you can provide another photo looking straight on. The only photos provided from those saying the straight on ones are photoshopped are side views. That tells us nothing. The windows are on the sides, you can clearly tell that from the straight on photos.

I think you missed my point, things will be very different when He comes in all His Glory to save us from living in a world filled with sin and so we can be with Him. The ending part of the Bible and the point of the Bible that prepares us so we can be Jesus on the New Earth. We can eat from the Tree of Life and live in peace and happiness forever. Yes, we have His Spirit now, but that is very different than being able to see Jesus with our own eyes. God bless

I think its reasonable to suggest asking for photos of the same view. That way we can see like for like, but without it, we can’t really determine anything other than the windows are on the side.

Not really, in order to see both “windows” in one shot you need to have it from the view straight on. The views people attached shows only one window that looks a lot like an eye, imo.

It may look like an eye, but the claim is based upon the whole thing looking like a face (of a serpent). That is impossible with one "eye" centered on one of the side walls and the other one on the opposite wall, facing each other from across the whole width of the room (which can easily be judged from most of the pics we've seen). The pictures shown in post #493 are conclusive.

I disagree without a like for like photo from face on. I think the easier solution is for those opposing the interpretation and saying the photos are doctored to provide a photo facing the center of the auditorium looking down the middle.

Would it matter to anyone if it was meant to look like a serpent? It's a hypothetical question at this point.
