Have you ever thought about this? Of all the times in human history that we could have been able bodied, professing Christians, why did we choose or were chosen to be here now, at the end, when things are going to get bad. What are we supposed to be doing? How are we supposed to be acting? I pray and He feels so far away, like a telephone line with lots of static. Should we be forming a Coalition? What are we supposed to be doing? Please think about this before you answer.

This is not a rhetorical question. I literally have no idea.

Most people only listen to things they want to hear.

I've thought about that very question (What are we supposed to be doing?) for years. You are not going to like the answer. The short answer: watch for calamities. Mostly this is about the threat of nuclear wars.

Matthew 24
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

In reality, we'll know 7 years before the return of Jesus when the Antichrist shows up. We'll get confirmation at 1290 days before the return of Jesus. So his return will be no surprise at all for the Christians at the very end.

You are not watching for the actual return of Jesus. You are watching for the events (calamities) that precede his actual return. These events could happen right now. COVID-19 could be one example.

How might a nuclear war play out? Israel is currently threatening to bomb Iran over its nuclear program. If those two go to war and Israel nukes its neighbors (Isaiah 17), the US would be at risk of nuclear retaliation from Russia according to the Russian nuclear doctrine: If a Russian ally gets nuked then Russia can nuke back.

Nobody would expect Russia and probably China to retaliate. Everybody would be caught completely off-guard, but you would know differently.

We are entering a final point and as one winds a top with a string, throws it to the floor this universe was slung into existence by God the creator of all thing visible and invisible. We all have a free choice to choose between life or death. This decision acts on our will and the outcome is realized. God is in plain sight and he will reveal to us his Son Jesus Christ if we ask but he will never break our will. Mathematically your gene structure could only have been in this time your parents, their parents and so on. What makes this so remarkable is the fact that it is impossible for life to exist. From every generation to the time of Jesus's birth, life, death and resurrection. The early Christians laid on their house tops and gazed skyward looking for Jesus returning as he had left. Through out the years many religions have sold everything and waited for the end, yet it did not come.
The answer is described as the former and latter rain. We are those spoken about by the prophet Joel. We are the sons and daughters who have had the Holy Spirit poured out on us. God has done what he promised through his word.
All of the world prophecies are coming together at the same time. Here I am in Canada talking to people all over the world. Matthew 24, Tells us of many terrible things coming but these are not the end-time signs to watch. When this gospel is preached to the entire world, then the end will come.
Prophets from all times have spoken about a system by which the entire world will be seen and see, hear and be heard. Hold on and pray because the USA has not been sitting idle. The satellite system is almost in-place that will carry the first of many messages to the entire world. We are the coalition and you are doing exactly what you should be doing. I would not be talking to you if you we not. Take courage in the fact that many through the years have longed to be in your position. I am 65 years old now and have walked up and down my road continually for forty years, crying out to God for this very hour. My wife and best friend went on to glory the same time Kim Clement left. My Father who landed on the Juno beach in Normandy died in December 2019. His last words at 99 years were, " they ain't getting me out of here that easy", he died within an hour. I have never seen God's word so accurately unfolding. The Body of Christ is rising as one body, not weak and defeated but strong, powerful and triumphant. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church.

That is beautiful. And that is precisely what I meant. Of all the times we could have existed but we are here in the glorious end! For decades they do tried to make sense of Revelation and now it could not be more clear. We KNOW how it unfolds and goes down. In essence, it has already happened. Everything that is going to happen has already happened. Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday. As terrifying as it all is knowing how bad it must get, it is still a glorious time to be alive. I am ready for a good fight. I am ready to die for Christ right now and mount a horse. I want to see His Victory! I want to experience His glorious moment before my eyes! I walk around and see young women getting pregnant and I think " What are you doing? Not now! "
This is NOT the time to be having children. It just isn't! It makes me wonder if people are really that clueless to what is going to happen and sadly, they are! The world has conditioned itself to look at Christian like crazy fanatics with an extreme agenda yet Christians are not out buying weapons to be radical in any way. The world fears Christian prayer and if we could just have a huge in person revival despite Covid-19. We need a huge gathering right now. It is so powerful!

Just tweek your profession a little. My Father stood before the monument in Holland dedicated to the fallen heroes, his friends. With a salute and the determined smile. I salute you my friends for I know how easy it is to die, you proved it , I salute you. His story is amazing, he said it is hard to live, hard to live but fifty years has come and gone and I remember it as yesterday. Our battle is almost over and we will never surrender to the enemy.
Jaxxi you have already died for Jesus, that was easy. Now the hard part, say to those around you I live and fight for my Lord Jesus, one day at I time. I see my future and we win I have read the last chapter. You are a very special part in the body of Christ, and the enemy wants to destroy that part.

Read out loud even record yourself, 1 Corinthians 12:21-27
=================================================
Jesus has a real body and we are all part of it. Our enemy wants to destroy those parts that need to be treated with greater modesty. It is obvious you are or have a great roll in those modest parts

We have three things we are supposed to be doing: love God, love our neighbor, and spread the Gospel. That's our charge.

Those are great points. Those things I can handle. What do you say about all the people who do not want to hear the gospel? Keep preaching it and plant those seeds? Down the road they could bear fruit which we will never see, but it could happen? I am finding resistance to who I preach it to. You see them stiffen up and look around for somewhere else to sit. " I think it is best for people to keep their religion to themselves". I hear

Jesus told us precisely what to do. We don't keep pressing. Let God deal with their heart.

Why do you assume that it's the end, and that things are going to get bad?

If anything, things are right now better than they have been then at any other point in history.

When was the last time you were worried that an army was going to come and sack your town and burn it all down? I'm guessing probably never.

But place yourself in most other times in history, and your society was constantly sitting on a razor's edge of becoming just another footnote in history because some uppity warlord decided he liked the grass in your fields and thinks it would be good for his goats and horses to feed on.

We should be grateful for how much we have compared to countless generations who came before us.

Oh I am not ungrateful in any way. America is spoiled rotten and we have it made- for now. However if Elon Musk can lose 30 billion dollars overnight, and he didn't see it coming, it could be a sign that the stock market is not as stable as it once was and overnight we could be plunged from a golden carriage to a pumpkin in the twinkling of an eye. I am presuming things will get bad because I read my Bible and I trust God's word and He has told us what is going to happen. We cannot assume that it will not happen to us.

But, and this is important, just because things may get bad near the end that doesn't mean we are living in that time.

There have been those, in almost every generation, who said that the end was nigh or who said "things are getting worse".

Here is a quote,

"Our Earth is degenerate in these later days; there are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end; bribery and corruption are common; children no longer obey their parents; every man wants to write a book and the end of the world is evidently approaching."

What if I told you that this was written almost 5,000 years ago? This is from an ancient Assyrian clay tablet dated to 2800 BC.

We need to be objective and sober-minded.

The end will come when it comes. The day will indeed happen when our Lord shall return, in glory, to judge the living and the dead. And on that day the dead shall be raised, there will be Final Judgment, and then God shall make all things new--a new heavens and a new earth. We can be confident of these things.

But let's not presume that now is the time of the end. Our Lord tells us that this is something we cannot know, saying, "No one knows the day or the hour", no one except God the Father knows when the End shall come. When our Lord Jesus tells us about His glorious return and judgment He says it will be as in Noah's time, people going about their lives as usual, people are going to work, people are getting married and starting families, people are going about their lives--when suddenly and without warning, the flood came.

Our Lord does not speak of Noah's day to say, "Things will be really bad", but rather to speak of how things were normal and no one saw the flood coming. So will it be when the Lord returns in judgment. Two will be in a field, one will be taken and the other left; two will be grinding at a mill, one taken and one left.

If we could divine the "times and seasons" which God has purposed, then He would have told us; but He tells us the opposite, "It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority" (Acts of the Apostles 1:7).

Christ calls us to a life of faithfulness here and now. Wherever and whenever we find ourselves.

And thus we are called to a life of discipleship right here, right now. The particular struggles, challenges, and opportunities of this present time our ours, ours to face, and by the grace of God, persevere in faith. So that the word of God is continually on our lips as we proclaim Christ crucified and risen from the dead, our sins being forgiven, God's universal love for all manifest in the proclamation of this Gospel to all the world. Out of God's great love and devotion to His world which He has made, in which He desires the salvation of all men.

Now is our time because we are here in it. Not because now is eschatologically more signficant, but because now is when you and I and all of us live, and it is to us--here and now--that there is Christ's invitation and call to believe, to live, and to come and follow Him.

That is a fabulous notion, but we are living in the Book of Revelation right now. I know this for a fact.

Dear sis,
This is what we have heard:

He ( Jesus ) was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times FOR THE SAKE OF YOU -1 Peter 1:20
who through him ( Jesus ) are believers in God, who raised him ( Jesus ) from the dead and gave him ( Jesus ) glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. -1 Peter 1:21

So I hope you come to understand why you were chosen to be here in the last times,
that is , Jesus was made manifest in the last times FOR THE SAKE OF YOU so that your faith and hope are in God.

You are asking : What are we supposed to be doing? How are we supposed to be acting? I pray and He feels so far away, like a telephone line with lots of static.

In other words, you are saying that you don’t know how God is working in you ! For what purpose ?

This is what we have heard:
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. -Ephesians 2:10

How God is working in us ?
This is what we have heard :
that according to the riches of His glory He ( God the Father ) may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, -Ephesians 3:16

God the Father is working in us through His Spirit !

What the Spirit of God is working in us ?

This is what we have heard:
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith'that you, being rooted and grounded in love, -Ephesians 3:17

The Spirit of God is strengthening our inner person or our hearts then Christ can dwell in our hearts.

The Spirit of God is strengthening our inner person or our hearts to make us rooted and grounded in Christ’s love, as we have heard before:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? -Romans 8:35

That means that the Spirit of God is working to make us rooted and grounded in Christ’s love !

How about Jesus do he works ? Yes, He is. That is why we have heard:
And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.]] -Mark 16:20

So now, God is working in us! This, too, we have heard apostle Paul have spoken to the saints in Philippi :

And I am sure of this, that He ( God ) who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. -Philippians 1:6

Since we have heard, we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus ; what do God work in us — what do God want to create in Christ Jesus? It is our love for Him !
What else can be considered good works ! If not, love !

That is why He calls us to bear fruit in good work. What fruit can we bear in good works? Yes, love !

That is why we have heard his commandment:
And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. -1 John 3:23

The strength to love one another can only draw from Christ’s love who has overcome the world or tribulations or fear.

You ask: what are we supposed to do ?

we need to be rooted and grounded in Christ’s love.

That is why we need to be filled with His Spirit of love. As we have heard:
and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. -Romans 5:5

That is why apostle John spoke of the love of our Heavenly Father :
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. -1 John 3:1

It is great significance that we draw near God’s love. This love that enabled prophets, apostles and faithful ministers of God to offer themselves as a sacrifice to God.

This is what we have heard about fervency of that love :
Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. -Philippians 2:17

Yes, apostle Paul spoke to us with such love, that is , the love of Christ.
Let us pursue this love !

But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"' -1 Corinthians 2:9

these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. -1 Corinthians 2:10

Let us be rooted and grounded in Christ’s love then we through the Spirit will be revealed what God has prepared!

I think I could be married to a wolf in sheep's clothing and I do not know what to do. He played the part when we married and now he has backslid so bad that it grieves me deeply. He is hardening his heart to stone and praying for him seems to make it worse. He is turned off to anything religious and we have not been intimate for close to 5 months. He yells at me, I can do nothing right and when I read my Bible he rolls his eyes. He is listening to secular music and watches fighting 24/7 when not working. I don't want to change him, I just leave him alone and wonder what has happened. My soul is grieved and maybe that is half my problem. In this situation I don't know what would please God and I feel stifled. God's word feels blocked and it feels intentional. Like a check mate move of the devil.

Dear sis,
we all can understand why you are hurt, discouraged and grieved. I can understand what you don’t like to see in your marriage.

Keep the faith, sis. Don’t lose heart. Lift up praise to God in times of despair. God can bring you peace and joy to your heart.

Keep praying on your husband and seek the Lord’s mercy for your husband didn’t know what he was doing.

Then pray this prayer of deliverance according to Ephesians 2: 13-16

But now in Christ Jesus my husband and I who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility
by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace,
and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. Amen

Keep praying. Trust what the Lord will do for your marriage that He sheds His blood to bring you near. Keep trusting the Lord is yours and your husband’s peace. Trust the Lord that He will break the wall of hostility between your husband and you. That through His blood that the Lord has killed that hostility in your marriage in His body.

Remember this great love ! You will draw closer to His love. Jesus will mean something very dear to you for what He has done for your marriage.

In His righteousness, He will bring you out of this distress. Trust that the Lord will carry through. Seek His strength. Hide in His refuge. Declare His victory day after day.
Let yourself be found in God’s peace.
