Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness
and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

If you met someone who is a picture of healthy living by diet and exercise,
you would not by outward appearance think “now this a child of God”.
If you met someone who is anchored and established in the kingdom of God,
there should be a tangible, physical presence from that person from the

Peace and Joy of Christ.

Philippians 3:
20
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body,
according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

As our physical presence is subdued to conform to the glory of Christ’s body,
the power of redemption is made manifest.

Romans 8:23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,
even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption,
the redemption of our body.

On earth, as it is in heaven.
2 Corinthians 5:
1
For we know that if our earthly tent is destroyed, we have a building from God,
a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation
which is from heaven,
3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.
4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want
to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed
up by life.

While the fullness of Salvation, Redemption and Glory will not be revealed
until Christ’s return, the Holy Spirit is working in us ‘a strong family resemblance’
to the Son of God.

1 John 3:
2
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what
we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we
shall see Him as He is.
3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves
from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
