The religionist's say 'God allows evil', which is not what the WORD says.
The hebrew word for Create is the same as Genesis 1.

Hello @Magisteria, I don't believe that the problem in Isaiah 45:7 has to do with בָּרָא/bara (translated as "create" in the KJV), rather, it has to do with the KJV's translation of רַע/ra˓ as "evil" :preach:

Of course, as long as the meaning of "evil" is not understood as "moral" evil, IOW, understood to mean that God is the Author/Creator of "moral" evil in this world (instead of "natural" or "physical" evil), I suppose "evil" (though certainly not the best or most appropriate translation .. due to context) could still be used there.
