Valentine’s Day is this weekend, and we are in quarantine. It sounds romantic... a weekend shut away from the world... but throw in two busy little boys and the romance kind of falls away. I think we will likely celebrate with a late candlelight dinner (after the kids are in bed). My husband’s love language is quality time, so I got him a box of date ideas instead of a typical present.

Like for many out there, this year's Valentine's Day is going to be a quieter one for my wife and I.

It'll be less busy, but not less loving. ;)
I hope you both have a blessed day! :)

My husband and I aren't doing anything this year. We normally have a nice dinner out, (and flowers and chocolate for me.. :) ) but I couldn't do the outing this year even without COVID restrictions, so it's just going to be a normal night I think...

Next year will be better, hopefully!

I actually appreciated Valentine's Day this year, since it's our first with the new little one. Between work, taking care of him, and not going out because of the pandemic - it was nice to have a reason to order food and watch a movie together.

Yeah, taking care of a little one in the middle of a pandemic and attempting to snuggle and enjoy 'us time' with the spouse would be challenging ...
