Prayer for my unbelief in Jesus

Yes, we trust You, O God, for how You are able to have Plalo trust in Jesus. May Plalo feed in Your word so Plalo discovers all You desire to do with Plalo, in sharing with Christian brothers and sisters helping Plalo. Amen, in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior and Your Son.

You know.. if anyone just asks Him.. are you really who they say you are? Show me.. mean it from your heart. JESUS IS REAL!

Prayers, dear friend. Just talk to Him, reach out to Him, call on Him. He is love. And He is real.

Plalo, I like your honesty. God promised eternal life to whoever would believe in His Son Jesus. The world and this life are only temporary, and when you leave this earth, you need to know you have eternal life and will go to heaven. No one can earn their way to heaven on their own merit or even their finest behavior. Salvation is a gift of God, free to whoever will believe on Jesus. It’s the best investment you will ever make in your life. It’s far more important than fame, fortune, or anything this world has to offer. If you accomplish anything on this earth, let it be that you are reconciled to God once and for all. If you were to die next week, and no one knows when their time is up, you need to settle it once and for all. Jesus Christ is your eternal salvation, and there is no one else who can forgive your sins. It’s the wisest decision you will make in your life.
God loves you and sent Jesus to pay the penalty for your sins. He rose again to assure you of eternal life. The Bible shows only those IN Christ will be saved. The moment you CALL on the name of Jesus and turn to Him, scripture says you become seated in heavenly places in Christ. Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit which marks you as His.
He will be with you, never leave you or forsake you. He will make himself real to you. You put him first and he promised you won’t have to worry about your life. He will take care of you, be with you, help you, provide for you. Follow him, seek him, listen to him. He will show you his will for your life. He will open doors. He will be your strength and show you his power when your own strength is gone. There is nothing more exciting than knowing God....Absolutely nothing. Whatever it costs, your life, reputation, forsaking friends who want to do evil, fulfilling desires that you know the Lord wouldn’t be pleased with. Make that turn. He is worth eternal life and there is nothing more valuable or important. There is salvation in no other than Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world, he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life. John 3.16

I asked that question more than 40 years ago to a God who I wasn't sure existed. The next day, while I was reading the the Gospel of John, He opened my blind spiritual eyes and showed me the truth I needed to know & my life was changed forever.

Praying for you to come to Jesus. It would be a good idea to read His Word, the Bible. It is good to start in the New Testament, especially the book of John. God bless.

The Lord clearly helps people who may actually believe but struggle with unbelief. In Mark 9 there is an account of a man whose son is bothered by an evil spirit which the Lord’s disciples cannot seem to heal. The father finally asks the Lord for help & says he believes but also asks the Lord to help his unbelief ( see Mark 9:24).

Hello Plalo,

In order to help us believe, God gave us scriptures through his prophets. When speaking to his disciples, Jesus said "I have told you now before it happens so that when it happens, you will believe". Of course, there's an important message here. Scripture is there to tell us what will happen. Specifically, the O.T. was written to point to Jesus, and allow us to believe in him. As another example, Jesus told a parable in Luke 16:19-31. In the parable, after the death a rich man was in hell, looking up and saw Father Abraham. After experiencing suffering in hell, he requests that Abraham send Lazarus to his household to warn them so that his family will not go to the place of torment. "Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them", and also explains that "If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead". I will pray for you, and it is my hope that you come to realize that while belief is a choice, it is a choice based on evidence. The evidence we have is the Bible, and the fact that Jesus came according to what was recorded in the Bible.
