Mist on the ground... or work in progress?
It's supposed to be fresh snow. I guess it doesn't read like that clearly enough. I was hoping the snow covered branches would help communicate that, but maybe they are still too dark in areas? Or maybe the soft edges by the edge of the path are too soft and suggest mist?I was thinking I needed to rework the right edge of the path at least.

Snow. Yes. The title should have given it away, lol. You are right, attention to the soft edges would work. I was going to suggest some hard shadowing... but I don't think the sun is shinning that way.

The mist in the sky looks good. The brush is nice as well.

The snow is definitely the part that is not working on this one. There is no way that snow escapes all shadows, and with that steep hill on the right it looks like much of it should be in shadow, and with the trees and brush casting shadows as well.

It is not that unusual to see fairly abrupt edges on snow, or drifts that fall down into lower areas. But that soft edge is not reading well.
