You should! I highly encourage people to try it. Some people don't like it because of the controls (they can be clunky at times and feel heavy) and RNG elements, but it's been an amazing series for me, personally.

I played one on the 3DS.. can't remember what it was called.. was fun. Cannot remember why I stopped playing.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, 4 Ultimate, and Generations were released on the 3DS. I think a lot of people just get busy with other things. They can be grindy at times and if that's not your thing, it's hard to hook people.

I'm pretty sure it was Monster Hunter 3.

One reason I now remember for stopping playing the game was the low resolution of the 3DS was driving me insane.. lol.. have to try one of the games for the PS4.

I don't mind grinding games.. gives me a chance to numb my gaming mind and listen to some podcasts in the process.
