Calling somebody a false teacher is definitely not an unpardonable sin. Jesus, Paul, and others called quite a few people "false teachers". Don't let it bother you too much.

There are false teachers on You-Tube. That should not make you fear for your eternal soul that you identified one.

Welcome. Unbelief is the unpardonable sin. Sounds like you are a beliver calling out a false teacher. Be blessed.

Well did I even sin?
(I did not read the details.)
  1. You may have been mistaken in your assessment, but blaspheming the Holy Spirit runs much deeper than that.
  2. No one who has blasphemed the Holy Spirit feels convicted that he (might have) sinned. Conviction is the Holy Spirit's gig. If you ever truly blasphemed Him,
    • He would abandon you,
    • you would not be convicted,
    • nor would you miss it.
(That is just your OCD playing with your head.)

Maybe. Or maybe not. But jumping to the conclusion that you committed 'the unpardonable sin' is a wild leap.

If you did sin, confess and repent. If you don't know, consult your pastor.

This 'unpardonable sin' thing that pops up with regularity in Christian Forums is a problem. This sin is the result of serious deliberate willed serious misbehavior that you simply do not want to abandon and persist in for the rest of your life. It cannot be done by accident. It means you absolutely refuse to be pardoned, either because you love the sin or you despair of God's mercy offered to you for forgiveness. In any event, it's because the sinner refuses forgiveness. All such a sinner has to do is accept the forgiveness Jesus Christ offers. The hardened heart can't do that. Everyone else can. All you have to do is accept. See how easy that is? Now go confess it to your priest and be done with it.

This is what the unpardonable sin really is:

20 Then the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. 21 But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”

22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebub,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.”

23 So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. 27 No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.

The Unpardonable Sin
28 “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”— 30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
~Mark 3:20-30 (NKJV)

Bible Gateway passage: Mark 3 - King James Version
Bible Gateway passage: Mark 3 - New King James Version
Bible Gateway passage: Mark 3 - New International Version
Bible Gateway passage: Mark 3 - International Children’s Bible

22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

The Unpardonable Sin
31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
~Matthew 12:22-32 (NKJV)

There is a VERY BIG DIFFERENCE between calling out a suspected false teacher/prophet and actually knowingly accusing The Holy Spirit Himself of being evil in that regard. To do that to the Holy Spirit, it has to be a deliberate, calculated accusation in an attempt to discredit Him. The Pharisees in the Gospels could not win any debates against Jesus Christ and thus resorted to blasphemous slander in an attempt to discredit Him. Pride goes before the destruction. (Proverbs 16:18)

If you truly fear you have blasphemed the Holy Spirit, I recommend reciting this personal declaration to Him:

"The Holy Spirit, I love You, I respect You, and I appreciate everything You have done for me."

(Deuteronomy 6:5, Ephesians 4:25-32, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, 2 Peter 3:9)

I have struggled with this fear. Thanks to this declaration, I do not struggle with it anywhere near as much as I once did. My gift to you.

Take care, stay safe, and God bless!

I like to tell young members of my congregation who are worried about this that the very fact they are worried proves they did not commit it, since it is the Holy Spirit which inspires us to repent, and people who blaspheme the Holy Spirit lose the desire for repentance.

Well do u think me saying that was correct did u see the files? And what he said
You were speaking what you believed to be true. Did you "lie"? Was your intent to "attack" him?

We ARE to speak out if someone or something is NOT in line with God's Word. Paul sure did in the New Testament. Jesus HIMSELF did when He cleared the Temple.

Were you WRONG in what you said?
