Using Bible software I did a vocabulary search on some key words in the Revised Standard Version. It is interesting as I checked various words whether whole or in partial match. The number of occurrences through the whole Bible was enlightening.

Passion 10
Of "passion", one of the 10 is the passion of the Christ; the remaining 9 are very interesting.
"A tranquil mind gives life to the flesh, but passion makes the bones rot." (Prov 14:30 RSV)
"...and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error." (Rom 1:27 RSV)
"But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to be aflame with passion." (1Cor 7:9 RSV)
"Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." (Col 3:5 RSV)
"...not in the passion of lust like heathen who do not know God;" (1Thess 4:5 RSV)
"by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, that through these you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of passion, and become partakers of the divine nature." (2Pet 1:4 RSV)
"...and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and wilful, they are not afraid to revile the glorious ones," (2Pet 2:10 RSV)
"Another angel, a second, followed, saying, 'Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of her impure passion.'” (Rev 14:8 RSV)
"For all nations have drunk the wine of her impure passion, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich with the wealth of her wantonness.” (Rev 18:3 RSV)
There is a real danger in being zealous based on feelings and emotions rather than rational thought:
"For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge." (Rom 10:2 KJV)
