Ummm. Yeah it is. Why are we a secular nation?

The constitution.

Our money doesn't say that and last time I testified in court, I didn't put my hand on the Qur'an.

You could have if you requested to or not used a holy text at all, it’s not a requirement.

this is true. I don't know where people get this idea this a Christian nation .
Biden just undoing all of trumps nonsense /terrible orders.
That's why executive orders don't mean much tbh. They can be reversed easily.
We get the idea because we say " In God we Trust" and " God bless America" and in court we don't swear on the Qur'an. What does being Christian have to do with the fact he called 12 orders Dictatorial when he signed 28?

Aiding. He just gave them a bunch of money.
The Hyde amendment is still intact but don’t let that derail the indignation.

Then you’ll have no issue pointing me to the part of the United States Constitution that says we are a Christian nation.

“In God We Trust” has been ruled by the Supreme Court as a form of “ceremonial deism” dictating no specific god since at least Lynch v. Donnelly in 1964. And Keith Ellison placed his hand on the Quran when he swore in as a Congressman back in 2006 and there have been others since him.

Here is the problem I have with you.You said " you guys". ?? Who is you guys? I am not a Republican or a Democrat so who are you referring to? How am I a hypocrite? I didnt vote for Trump, but I am concerned that Trump only had 12 executive orders. Therefore if Biden was just undoing what Trump did there would be 12 executive orders! Biden himself said 12 was " executive overreach that only a DICTATOR would do. Then he gets in and does 28?! Who is the hypocrite? Don't be so proud in your stance that you can't see cause for concern. Lets face it. Biden was NOT the best man for the job but he was the only other option to keep Trump from winning right? Maybe if we got some decent choices to choose from it wouldn't be like this. The solution? When voting they give us 2 from each party so we can choose the best man with the countries best interest. I am an American. I love the Constitution. Therefore I do not care what party they are with- if they are the best man for the Presidency they have my vote. This Republican Democrat thing is about old anyways. United we stand Divided we fall and Americans allowed the DIVISION? Does that make sense?

I honestly have no clue why this rant is directed at me. I didn’t use “You Guys” at all in this thread.

No, he's not a dictator. Dictators have absolute power. An EO is far from absolute power. It's not even a proper law, and can be changed with the next administration, as you can see. No, not only do we not have a dictator, but we have a bad habit of allowing the Executive Branch to put band aids on things Congress probably needs to address, IMO.
That is very true. Those are good points

It's already been pointed out that this was taken out of context and the accurate context of what he actually said has been provided. Why are you still on this?

I was pushing back against what you said in Post #40 when you were trying to use currency and a tradition at swearings that isn’t even that much of a tradition as reasons we are to be considers a Christian nation. We aren’t and I know the Constitution is in agreement with me on this. That’s why you won’t show me where in the Constitution it says we are a Christian nation, or even the word Christian for that matter.

As to your complaint about EOs, @Hank77 in Post #9 and @essentialsaltes in Post #31 I feel explained it well.

:sigh:

He's just undoing the damage using the same method that was used to wrought it. You guys didn't care when Trump did it. I don't care that you care now. More power to him as long as he's helping the country and not actively destroying it.

Same with the deficit...

Same with "family values"...

Same with moral indignation with Democratic politicians but not with Republican ones...

Everyone is a hypocrite... and I don't care what morally and intellectually bankrupt and transparently, nay, unashamedly hypocritical Republicans think.
Who are you referring to when you said " You guys?" I am not a Republican so I would love to hear your answer.

He didn't say it. Or do you have evidence otherwise?
