interesting the hyper-responses...

the Daily Sacrifice ended at several points even probably in Babylonian times, but always restarted and even today there are Israelites claiming to continue the sacrifice...
I think its not a stretch to say the Daily Sacrifices on the Temple Mount truly ended for all time around or before 666AD - multiple historians support this approximate time.
The building of the fake church shrine called the Dome of the Rock followed and was completed according to historical records in 691/2 - most Christians get that this is an Abomination, Judaism certainly does.

When exactly the Hail & Fire follow the Trumpet Call , isn't for us to decide or judge. Also there isn't much grass and forest left to burn these days. Deserts like the Sahara are still expanding and forests like the Amazon retracting at phenomenal rates.
Christianity has missed the Trumpet Call to rise against corruption and greed, and the fake church.

Hi there,

End times is not my bag, but I agreed to post this offering from a friend...

from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
The End of the "Daily Sacrifice" was when Jerusalem was defeated and the Mosque was completed about 666 AD.
The "Abomination of Desolation" , or the fake Dome of The Rock was built over the foundation stone of the world in 691/2 AD. Taking this date and adding the 1335 Years makes 2026/27 a significant year. "Blessed is he who waits" for that years Event of All the Millennia.
We have just had the 1st Trumpet call and it has been totally ignored and corrupted , that is also very significant confirmation.
Climate will play a big part and will be getting much colder over the next 3 years. There are signs in the sun, and it is already happening...

Comments appreciated.

Well if God wished to couch that message in allegorical verbage, it could be that or any one of dozens of other allegorical interpretations.

OR:

It could be exactly as the Angel gave it to Daniel. that in the last days, from the time the sacrifice in teh temple ceases and the abomination of desolation is set up (the antichrist, man of lawless ness and other titles for him) happens at the mid point of the 70th week of Daniel when the man of lawlessness in Thess. enters the temple holy place and declares himself god! From that point there will be 1290 days. And then there is 45 days further that people are called blessed if they are still around after that extra forty days.

thjere is a very simple and logical biblical anser if you wish to know.

This raises an interesting point...

For Israel to exist even now is unlikely - surrounded by aggressors from inception the unlikely to have survived two major wars and threats.

In terms of evidence of God being with a Nation... Is there more evidence of God being with Israel or the US ???

I know this is off topic a bit but I would be intrigued to hear your perspective on this...

I have theories but ultimately, I simply CANNOT comprehend God's plan. His ways are NOT our ways (Isaiah 55:6-9) and He can carry out His plan however He wishes.

God is the Creator, He makes ALL the rules!

biblically it is a stretch.

There will be a 3rd temple, the sacrificial system will be restarted and that temple will stand throughout the millennial kingdom!

Ezekiel 44-46 shows that sacrifices will be conducted during the millennial kingdom in the temple!

I see your friend is trying to interpret the 1290 days and 1335 days fitting it into historical records. I personally think Daniel 12:11-12 has a very reasonable explanation of already being fulfilled using the scriptures only. See my thread on this here

HI the scriptures make a dramatic change on so many levels when the LORD comes the before and after picture is amazing and the more you isolate what is described to happen you can then watch for it to happen. In Hosea the prophecy call Israel the unfaithful wife and note that they are not His people but the change in promised. In the place where it was said you are not my people you shall be called sons of the living God. This is the day of Jezreel. Now Jezreel in another a name for the valley of Meggido and it is the other side of the valley so this is tied in to the second coming of Jesus. In Ezekiel it notes that the dead bones come to life and those who are brought back to the mountIns of Israel God will remove the heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh and a new spirit writing his laws on their hearts.

Again this before and after. So yes the LORD is with Israel but they are not on the right side of faith in Jesus yet and are set as flint that Jesus is fake and the messiah is coming. They will accept the anitchrist until the abomination of desolation which will occur in the 3rd temple.

The goal of Satan is to be worshiped as God in the temple claiming to be above God. That is why Illuminati families like the Rothchild's have had a large hand in crating the state of Israel. The Rockerfeller family gave the land for the UN. The one world government will form and the AC once revealed will persecute Jews and Christian's until Jesus comes in power.

I wonder if you have some knowledge of how long this persecution might last?

I try not to take everyone's charts, timelines, and yearly predictions too seriously. Lots of smart and well -meaning believers have diagrammed and dissected years, events, and Bible prophecies throughput history and their charts can look so different.

Even the people on YouTube's Messenger Sent who are all claiming to have End Times glimpses and warnings through visions and dreams don't have solid timelines. God does not seem interested in spelling it all out in the strictest sense for us. I do like to compare similarities in timeline predictions, but End Times stuff has only recently come to my attention. I'm with you; it’s not my bag either. I always considered End Times stuff to be for intellectuals and the overly enthusiastic, lol. One day at a time with Jesus is my personal saftey default setting.

I agree we are in the End Times mainly because there does seem to be real prophetic stirrings these days. Still, it can be hard to make sense of anyone's academic charts or prophetic words concerning End Times. Interpretations differ and predictions come and go. I have heard something about the timeframe you mentioned but don't know what to think myself. I figure it’s not for me to know exact anything unless the Lord tells me.

I like how you mentioned how climate changes may be expected and can lead to possible End Times type events. I had not heard that before. I'll be on the lookout for anyone else with similar thoughts on the subject. End Times prophecy is like a complex but fascinating puzzle map. You have a picture to go by but the individual pieces can be, uh, puzzling? :p

Hi the persecution is part of the enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. The supernatural hatred towards Israel is amazing and like the book of Esther much has gone against them. Also true God's hand is involved in protection and judgment. The persecution of the church is part of history and this is where there are many opinions as to what end times talks about and there is a distinction between the church and Israel in this.

In Rev 6 we see the seal judgments begin and the 5th seal 9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

In Rev 13
2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue[fn] for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe,[fn] tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Right here we see the persecution in the tribulation is timed to 42 months, This time he the beast is going after Jews and Christians who refuse the mark. There will be many Christians and Jews who will accept him and betray one another too. Dan 7 speaks about this and has the same timeline before the kingdom comes and the beast destroyed.

Dan 7
s. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.
Vision of the Ancient of Days
9 “I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
10 A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court[fn] was seated,
And the books were opened.
11 “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
13 “I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.

So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things: 17 ‘Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings[fn] which arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’

“I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.
23 “Thus he said:
‘The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,
And shall devour the whole earth,
Trample it and break it in pieces.
24 The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.
25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute[fn] the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time.
26 ‘But the court shall be seated,
And they shall take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever.
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’

Now persecution is happening around the world and in western countries the winds of persecution are blowing. The real persecution starts when seal 5 is opened and it may or may not be the same as Rev 13. Rev 13 is when the abomination of desolation happens and then killing Jews is on and perhaps the killing of Christians has begun earlier. We have a hope in the rapture of the church and that is a side topic. But I pray as Jesus told us to pray we are counted worthy to escape these things that are coming upon the earth and to be with the son of man.

The abomination or desolation is a future event that will happen after the Jews rebuild their temple. The abomination of desolation takes place halfway into the 7 year tribulation period, or Daniels 70th week. It triggers the beginning of the great tribulation where the seals are broken and Gods wrath is poured out on the Earth. 1335 is just over 3 and a half years. 1290 is 30 days over 3 and a half years and 1335 is 2 and a half months after 3 and a half years. That is when the end takes place and Jesus comes back to reign for 1000 years.

Explain please
The reference to Daniel 12:11-12 is Jesus referring to the prophet Daniel in Matthew 24:15 for them in Judaea to flee when they see the abomination of desolation standing in a holy place.

For brevity of this post, the abomination of desolation will be a statue image made of the beast person in Revelation 13, that everyone will be required to worship. The holy place will be the temple mount courtyard where everyone will be able to see it placed there. 1335 days before Jesus returns to rescue to the Jews in Jerusalem.

There is a lot more to it, but I don't want to overload anyone.

Hi Doug could be right but Rev 13 shows the beat gains power over the earth for 42 months and if the sacrifice is indeed the midpoint the extra 45 days may be something else. You see when the LORD comes and conquers the next order of business is separating the sheep from the goats as all who took the mark are toast but of the survivors who did not they will be sifted and if this process takes 45 days then blessed are you for you have made it into the millennium.

You stated, "we just had the 1st Trumpet". What or When did the 7 Seals open ? I don't believe anyone could ignore the 6th Seal
Revelation 6:12And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became as blackas sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; 13and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. 14The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15Then the kings of the earth and the eminent people, and the commanders and the wealthy and the strong, and every slave and free person hidthemselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; 16and they *said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the [m]sight of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;17for the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Personally I tend to avoid the trap of being absorbed in end-times thinking.

I imagine that the end-times has been predicted and speculated upon since the days of the early Church. It could be that it happens on Thursday, or a thousand years after I'm dead. Personally I think its more productive to work on conducting myself in such a fashion as to be able to give a good defence on the day of Judgement.

To clarify my position, I of course advocate being ready for the endtimes by being a man of prayer, who follows as best I can the commandments, and lives a Godly life.

The trap I was referring to was being caught in YouTube rabbit-holes, and endless speculation about the worldwide events leading to the endtimes at the expense of being ready in terms of your spiritual life. One can quite easily get caught in the 'guess the antichrist' game, but the reward, even if one were to get it right is not necessarily a place in the eternal Kingdom, particularly if this speculation becomes a distraction from one's prayer life.

I don't think this view is at odds with the passage you quoted.

I was thinking the same, but I’m a pretribber anyway. I don’t think some of us will be here for it. I don’t think any wrath has been poured out in any sense yet. Oh, it will one day but we are not there yet.

Here is my point, Lawrence, effectively you are sending a message to God that you don't care about what He has said through the prophets and Jesus down through the generations, sharing with us His plans of how He is going to straighten out this messed up world.

You are mistaken about this..."Personally I think its more productive to work on conducting myself in such a fashion as to be able to give a good defence on the day of Judgement."

Do you know why I study the end times, eschatology, wanting to understand it.... it is because I love God and am interested in everything He does and says.

Forgive me, but I feel that is a bit of a presumptuous assessment of my position on the matter. Of course God's plan for mankind is important to me. However I personally do not think it profits me to speculate as to whether it is the endtimes right now or not. It's also important to note that I was speaking for myself mostly.

For the entirety of Christian history people have been scouring the events of the world and the figures that have arisen on the world's stage with the eye to finding the signs of the immanent endtimes, and so far none have predicted it correctly. To my mind this says that it is folly to engage in this. For God's plan does not conform to our speculation.

Also I am extremely prone to obsessive thinking, and I know some rabbit holes are for me to stay away from, because I will end up being sucked into it to an unhealthy degree, and it will be to the detriment of my spiritual life. I am preparing myself for the endtimes regardless of when they might be, by engaging in prayer, going to church, and so forth. As far as I can see, this is not in contempt of God's plans, but rather precisely how one ought to respond to them.

Apologies if I sounded derisive of your wanting to understand eschatology etc. I didn't mean to, I was just merely expressing my views on the matter.

Have a blessed day

Personally I think its more productive to work on conducting myself in such a fashion as to be able to give a good defence on the day of Judgement.
That makes your Bible about 30% smaller. Why would you call it a trap ?
