Well, I have my eye on one, but haven't quite decided yet.

I've been messing with the piano software in FL Studio, seeing what I can learn there first.

Plus I'm still messing with the theory...

I know, I need to just do it already, haha.

Thanks for asking bro, how's the foot and are you back at 100 with the sickness?
Apparently there was some mountain cedar in the air at that particular time, and I just happened to experience side effects of a tetanus vaccine at the same time. I think it was a false alarm. Foot’s doing alright, still hurts slightly when the toenail is pressed down against, but otherwise things are okay.

That's good to hear, Yah bless!

I'm sorry if I hurt anybody again...I know sometimes i'm insensitive.

...it's not intentional, for whatever it's worth.

Thats' all i'll say on that.

I truly love and pray and hope for the best for all of us.

Shalom.

Would like everyone to know, my covid test came back negative yesterday. I am back at work tonight, but I find it is just as stressful as the night I last left last week and started feeling feverish with slight abdominal pain, leading me to get checked with the doc last Thursday. I can't really put my finger on how and why, but being at work has just been so difficult as of late for me. Please pray for me still, if I may ask.

But I’m listening to an interesting series on YouTube that grabbed my attention. I don’t usually go there but this is worth the trip.

May I ask what series, Bella? :)

The series discusses historical deceptions.

I’m sorry you’re under the weather. Maybe the environment is taking a toll. You’ve had a demanding schedule for awhile and the conditions were always stressful. The pandemic amplified each.

Praying for calm and the Lord’s respite. :yellowheart:

Hollywood is a strange place. I remember hearing about the Olsen twins all the time. I use to buy this magazine called K-Zone and they use to mention the Olsen twins all the time. They seemed to release a new movie every month. I had no idea there was a third one! And then one day I learn about Elizabeth Olsen and now she is more famous than her sisters, starring in the Avengers and other blockbuster movies, and the Olsen twins seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Strange...

They haven’t disappeared. They’re fashion designers and launched a well-known label in 2006 called The Row.

Business of Fashion: Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen

The Row was established in 2006 by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen. Focusing on exceptional fabrics, impeccable details, and precise tailoring, the house combines a timeless perspective with subtle attitudes which form an irreverent classic signature. The Row’s collections also explore the strength of simplistic shapes that speak to discretion and are based on uncompromising quality.

Will do, Miss VMae. It would be nice if they could at least update you, even if you aren't allowed to be there in person.

I'm very thankful for the CF. I've learned so much here and I've met so many awesome people.

As I've shared, it's been a tough couple of past years. I've experienced much much loss. More than I would ever imagine would come in such a short timeframe.

And it hasn't been only on a personal level...the whole world is suffering...and we are all losing something, whether it be people, time with family and friends, little things we've taken for granted, peace of mind, etc...

I love all of you guys here on the CF... believe it or not.

To those I've offended. I'm very very sorry. I hope nothing I've said here has pulled you away from Love.

To those who have been encouraged or blessed. All Glory and honor to Yah, in Yahshua ha Mashiach. Amen.

I need to unplug for a bit...I don't know how long, but It's time.

I've been out of prison for a little over two years...and, I've had my setbacks...

I'm happy to say I've been clean from drugs and alcohol for about six months.

I've decided that I don't want to do them for the next leg of this journey.

I will be praying for all of my CF family, for sure.

Yah bless you my loved ones, and shalom.

There comes a time when must accept our place in the grand orchestra and do what what we were meant to do.

Can I be the first chair violinist, then? ^-^

You mentioned home improvement on your thread and since I’m knee deep in DIY land I thought I’d chime in. Most women don’t do home improvement projects nor are they working alongside their partners. That’s a new phenomenon popularized by HGTV.

My father was skilled in carpentry and my grandfather learned through a 30 book series by Time Life library. I was sitting beside him when he ordered them from an infomercial as a child.

I’m the lone one in my immediate and extended family who wields a hammer and owns power tools. He remodeled everything and my grandmother never helped nor did my mother or her siblings.

I was right beside them and grew up watching home improvement shows on PBS. Women weren’t shown. Men puttered away in their wood shops and they did something else.

That holds true today. In my woodworking class there were 3 women counting myself across all the sessions. Only one was a regular. She’s been coming for 25 years. My sewing classmate worked with my instructor in the past. When she finished her piece she never went back.

Another classmate owned a side business flipping houses. We’re the lone pair in sessions over 7 days who got our hands dirty. I see the same in my business circle. Many have handy men but they do everything. I designed and built a piece of sewing furniture. My associate designed it and her spouse did the work.

Fixer Upper is a realistic snapshot of the division of labor. Women are more likely to enjoy decorating the home than rehabbing it.

Where I come from, we would say you're a "hand," meaning you have skills.

Clarification: It's considered a high compliment.

I'm horrible at handyman/craftsman/trade/home repair kind of work. I've tried to improve the skill so much. I took handyman & woodworking classes in school, I tried to learn it from a friend in school, I went on a couple volunteer service trips who's service was homebuilding & repair: I just can't do it, I'm horrible at it. I'm good at a lot of things & can do a lot of things, but working w/ tools for house improvement is something I just am really bad at. Unfortunately I think my lack of home improvement skills can be a turnoff. Thankfully I am financially blessed so hiring out help isn't usually a problem.

I'm saying they like the planning, decorating, designing, choosing, planning etc parts. They know what's in & modern. They know how it should look. This kind of stuff is fun & interesting to them. Example: if I do this kind of flooring, does it go w/ the paint/flooring/furniture, etc. You're right: HGTV kind of stuff. Not that they actually do the craftsman/trade type work.

My parents were helping me w/ that kind of stuff. A crew did the flooring labor
