I just got home from from work where I received my Covid vaccine. I received the Pfizer shot. It took one minute and I felt nothing. I had to take a seat for 15 minutes as a precaution .

I am scheduled for my 2nd shot in February. We had two vaccine centers set up. One floor was Moderna and the other Pfizer. It actually feels good knowing the finish line is in sight.

Hoping it works well for ya bro, keep us posted! Did you just make a choice between Pfizer or Moderna or were you directed towards one or the other? If you did, how did you choose?

Actually today the option was Pfizer other days Moderna. It all comes down to supply and demand. But once you take one obviously your 2nd dose has to be the same.

We did receive a document stating the vaccine was optional and that we could either take it or defer and that our decision would in no way affect our employment .

Ahh I see, that makes sense. I'm glad to hear they're not forcing it, my friend's a massage therapist and he just found out that he's going to be required to get it if he wants to continue with his massage work. I don't understand how that can be, my sister had just told me she didn't think anyone could legally force someone to get it. Maybe that's just public and government entities but private companies can require it? I don't know.

I think I should have used effect above. Lol

Nah you had it right the first time!

Does it bother you that there's been over 120 COVID vax-related deaths reported to VAERS in the last month? It's been estimated by an extensive Harvard study a few years ago that only 1% of adverse events get reported to VAERS. By my calcs that makes up to 12,000 U.S. fatalities to date.

Do you consider that risk against the chances of a normal healthy person under 70 dying from COVID, which are negligible.

And how about the fact the so-called vaccines are not designed to prevent transmission or reduce symptoms, only to twig a PCR test result.

Friend, I'd recommend putting God before the pharmakeia of Babylon on this one.

I was going to reply with CDC facts but your last sentence made me realize it wouldn’t be worth it.

I want to know.
I know that certain people who exhibit allergies to shots do not get it.
And certain health issues come into play also.
That it’s a chance you may have an unknown allergic reaction that could cause death and not the shot because it’s covid because the virus is dead and the body is given time to find and remember it for the sympathetic system to store.
If I remember correctly.

I’m sure it’s safe as a general rule.
