Seems like in her book some became aware of God stretching forth His hand to heal after a family member or even they were healed.

But surprising that we serve God who is Spirit but some don't want Him to do anything supernatural. Odd isn't it? Reading "God's Prescription Book" by Dr Avery Jackson, a neurosurgeon and a Christian. He elaborates on how applying Scriptures impacts us - spirit, soul, and body. An example is from the chapter on laughter - Says our bodies can't tell the difference between an authentic laugh or when we make ourselves laugh. But "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine..." (Pro 17:22). Laughter, joy, and exercise affect the same receptors that pain does. So we may think God isnt doing anything yet Him and His Word are impacting us.

Even words of knowledge, wisdom, and prophecies play a part as well because we"re turning our focus on Him.

Yes I read her book ages ago.
Shame we don't see the likes of her these days.
Mind you, looking at some of the cessationist comments on the forum, I suspect she would soon be driven out of town, despite the radical healings she had.
I seem to recall that people walking on the streets, several blocks away from her meeting, would often be slain in the Spirit, falling to the ground under the power of God.

You say you believe in the spiritual gifts then proceed to post against them.
There have been enough posts of this nature to see a clear pattern of bitterness and resentment along with a obvious vendetta. It appears to me that the only reason he came here is to troll.

So, personal testimony. Just a few minutes ago I received the most remarkable prophetic word I've ever gotten. There are some big decisions my wife and I are facing in our ministry and our lives so we reached out to a trusted prophetic source. He brought in someone we have never met or talked to before (but that we knew by reputation) to pray over us. So he had no idea of anything going on or any of our history.

As a part of the prophetic word the Lord gave him several words of knowledge with crazy accuracy. This guy called out our kids by name, our church name, our service name (which is very uncommon), and even my wife's maiden name, which he pronounced correctly (no one pronounces it correctly at first). More that just the outward, he also prophesied and confirmed exactly what has been in my heart concerning the future of our ministry.

The prophetic word didn't just contain words of knowledge, but also words of wisdom. It gave us direction on the decisions we face, challenged us to examine some things, confirmed things the Lord had already directed us on, and encouraged us we were on the right track.

This was a great example of how the prophetic should work. The crazy accuracy of the words of knowledge give far more weight to the words of wisdom/direction. It gave us plenty we need to do and examine, but ultimately brought us edification, exhortation and comfort at the same time.

Words of knowledge and wisdom, as I understand it, are the same thing. It's essentially when the Lord gives a word to someone that wouldn't know this information about you, about your past specifically or something that is going through your head and that you're dealing with that is secret only to you. This does, in my experience, usually happen before one does give a personal prophecy to someone, as sort of a sign of affirmation to the one receiving it that whatever they are about to say is coming from the Lord.

The definitions that have worked for me is knowledge is about past or present while wisdom is future which only God would know.

If they were the same, there wouldn't be any need in listing them as 2 manifestations of His spiritual gifts.

I stand corrected. 1 Corinthians 12:8 lists both in the same verse, so yup. Two different things

A word of knowledge presents information, facts, knowledge etc. That information can be past, present or future. In fact, words of knowledge for the future are often verified by facts presented from the past and present.
ie. "The Lord knows your car was stolen 2 weeks ago, making life very difficult.
He also knows you were at the bank today trying to borrow money for a new car.
The Lord says do not borrow the money because he will provide your needs next week."

A word of knowledge is very different and does not necessarily present facts or information.
One of the most profound examples of wisdom in scripture comes from King Solomon.

The story starts with two harlots arguing over two babies, one dead, the other alive, standing before the king asking him to judge who is the real mother of the live baby.
1Kings3v22Then the other woman said, “No! But the living one is my son, and the dead one is your son.”

And the first woman said, “No! But the dead one is your son, and the living one is my son.”

Thus they spoke before the king.

23And the king said, “The one says, ‘This is my son, who lives, and your son is the dead one’; and the other says, ‘No! But your son is the dead one, and my son is the living one.’ ” 24Then the king said, “Bring me a sword.” So they brought a sword before the king. 25And the king said, “Divide the living child in two, and give half to one, and half to the other.”

26Then the woman whose son was living spoke to the king, for she yearned with compassion for her son; and she said, “O my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him!”

But the other said, “Let him be neither mine nor yours, but divide him.”

27So the king answered and said, “Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother.”

28And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.

From the throne, Solomon could have just made a kingly judgment, "The baby belongs the woman in the blue dress".
As a prophet, he could have asked the Lord for a word of knowledge.
The problem with both methods is that, even if true, they offers no proof of veracity before the people.
And no doubt the dishonest mother would carry on protesting and blaming the real mother for stealing her son.

Solomon did not need to know which was the real mother, for the word of wisdom forced the truth to immediately manifest for all to see, and with no repercussions.
Despite Solomon's appalling command to cut the child in half, he knew absolutely that it would never get that far.

Wisdom directly caused the truth to manifest so powerfully, that all Israel heard it.
