Well, since "god" has been supposedly warning humans for the past 3200 years (writing of the OT begins approximately 1200 BC) and we humans haven't morally changed much in that entire time, one questions whether "it" warning the US for decades is even worth mentioning.

Obviously, "it" isn't going to do much about the US not listening (to whatever warning you want "it" to send).
I don't expect you to understand. God's warnings are primarily for Christians. It has been effective to some degree in Australia. 140,000 Christians have joined a group dedicated to praying for the nation. It's a good start.

That's just speculation. Biden's over-reaction and exploitation of the military simply pushed the false narrative that you just illustrated.
I saw nothing false in the disgrace we witnessed when MAGA morons caused insurrection at capitol Hill. And the protection erected for Inauguration followed FBI intelligence that you fools were planning more of the same.

It clearly was not necessary. There were no rioters/insurrectionists who showed up. It was all just a big Police State show of force by Biden, who exploited the military to help his agenda.

Rhetoric without substance.

Law and order is what government is supposed to do to protect the stability of the republic. Not allow people to bully or intimidate, or worse...

Wait, wait, wait.

So Sodom was the last time "god" decided to actually do something?
Indonesia has a province that is under Sharia law. There are non-Muslims living in that province. Sharia is a relatively recent introduction. There is regular conflict as Muslims attack those who are "infidels". There is little done about this as Islam encourages persecution of non-Muslims.

You might remember the Boxing Day tsunami 2004. The hardest hit area was, you guessed it, Aceh province. In one coastal town, all the Christians were driven out because they intended to celebrate Christmas. They were on high ground when the tsunami struck. 100,000 people died. The Christians were safe.

Pete what a load of crap - That tsunami also hit Sri Lanka and wiped out Christian villages and Hindu villages alike. It didn't discriminate. Your suggestion that the deaths in Aceh favoured Moslems because God wanted it that way is plainly ignorant and bigoted.

The world, in general, is a much better place than 3200 years ago. There was not much justice and equality in ancient agrarian societies. In some places people engaged in cannibalisms. We now have all kinds of social programs for the weak and disenfranchised. And we have science to help stop environmental degradation. I'm a lot more optimistic about the future than you are.

You may worship the false god of science. I do not.

<Looks around at the modern world> Odd how when we measure the success of scientific predictions against those of theists the clear winner is science. Every time science and religion clash science wins. Every single time.

Science does not present itself as a deity or demand your worship.
My god of choice is Sol.
The only thing that we actually know that drives life on Earth.
“Close enough” for me!

Wow. Your "god" is very bigoted, isn't "it"?

Any concept of "god" that I might admire wouldn't be so specific. Heck, it's like a parent only teaching a favorite child the lessons of life and abandoning the others. In my world, a parent like that would be a really, really, really BAD (and probably evil) parent.

Ken? Ken Ham? Is that you?

No one thinks of science as a "god". It's a tool that humans use to better understand the universe we live in. It's not science's fault that it's discoveries contradict your prefered "theology".

I agree.

I just don't think it was an anthropomorphic "god" bringing down fire and brimstone every few months to terrorize us humans into moral submission (as was suggested by another poster) that brought about this improvement.

Heck, much of the improvement was brought about because of science (which the aforementioned poster seems to particularly dislike).
