Just received an email at work that they have vaccinated 25,000 front line employees and now we will be receiving emails shortly where we choose a date and time for the vaccine. It won't be long.
Are they going to force everyone to get a vaccine? I would prefer to hear about how much of the society is reacting to the vaccine first. I don't know what happened in history when new vaccines came out and whether it was optional to take that vaccine. I wasn't alive yet.
For anyone that works with patients yes they will have to take the vaccine.
Maybe at your place of employment. The ambulance company I work for isn't making the vaccine mandatory nor is a friend of mine's ambulance company that she is working for.
Which is good for me as I don't want the vaccine at this current time.
My mother in law is getting her first vaccine February 15.
That's ok. I am going to take the vaccine. We have 35,000 employees and it makes sense that Dr's, Nurses. I work in IT and they gave an option of saying yes to the vaccine or deferring. Deferring is the key word which implies you will eventually have to.
Lol! Will do!Let me know if she grows horns. LOL best of luck to her. It will take 2 mins.
I got mine today. Believe it or not, I was getting my shot almost 50 minutes ahead of my appointment time. Imagine that, medical procedures that run early...
No ill effects?
Not really, I can tell I had a shot but it is not particularly sore. I would describe it as though I was punched in the arm yesterday. If I think about it, I can feel it a bit. I guess I will see what tomorrow brings but I am not really worried about it.
