I think I see what you are saying.

Yeah, I had to step away from the crowds in all kinds of different contexts to not be stifled by their herd mentality.

One big scenario that comes to mind is the politics.

If you want to call this setting boundaries, then yeah, I'm all for it.

If it is for the right reasons. Which, in the context of the post that sparked this discussion, would be to embrace a Godly perspective of things.

My parents were sticklers about other’s opinions. Mum said sticks and stones but Daddy said so what. Whenever we complained or he overheard us discussing something someone said about us to our face or behind our back the response was the same.

So what! He taught us to distinguish from meaningful remarks from those who matter and noise. It made us thick skinned and indifferent.

I have no control over anyone’s comments. I value feedback from those I love and respect. The rest doesn’t register. There’s too much jealousy and envy running amok to take it seriously.

My corset came today. Little Miss was eyeing it. I’ll start wearing it in a week when I finish the Ikea projects. I’m excited.

Im so happy im through with quarantining.I missed going to church these last two weeks.

I think I’m prepared. I take d3, C, and zinc. I need to do better on sleep for sure. I’m also suspicious of water from the tap, but at the same time I don’t want to go around touching the ice and fridge in general. I have asthma, and I have many medications. Current symptoms are: Fever, drainage, slight cough (possibly due to drainage), slight pain when breathing (also probably due to drainage). Also, I am fairly sore (possibly due to me trying to tank through the sometimes heavy chemicals at work). Overall, I don’t feel terrible. On the sick scale, I would place myself at a 3 or 4. I am still capable of smelling and tasting. Slight headaches, though I’m thinking those are due to lack of sleep or migraine. I suppose we will find out. Additionally, I am tired, but that might be because I didn’t get my 7.

Sounds like when I had the 19. I didn't lose my taste and smell until like 3 weeks after those symptoms.

It was like having the flu, the only difference was the loss of taste and smell...first time that ever happened to me.

All healthy people have boundaries. No one allows another unrestricted latitude unless they’re medically or emotionally impaired.

My temperature is 100.6, same symptoms as yesterday. I don’t know if it is worse, kinda feels the same.

Biggest indicator would be keeping an eye on your blood oxygen levels if you have a pulse oximeter at home or a smart phone that allows you to check it as part of the camera setup, like the Samsung S series etc.

If it is low 90s then I'd definitely call your doctor or just go straight to the ER.

Waiting for the nurse at my doctor's office to be tested for covid right now. Please pray for me.


..... It really would be nice if the two kids behind me in the line waiting for the nurse to clear me in right now were not so close to me and flailing about so much if they weren't going to wear masks. .... they definitely look old enough to know better.

The rapid test came back negative, but after some more deliberation they decided to go the long way, and now I cannot return to work until Monday at the earliest, when the results should be back.
