Yesterday Joe Biden was inaugurated President. But I didn't watch the inauguration. I'm not a Joe Biden supporter. He didn't win because of me. I voted against him in both the primary and the election. I voted for Mike Bloomberg in the primary and Donald Trump in the election.

I hope that Biden will be a one term President. I do not like Joe Biden. If this offends some readers, I apologize. But I have to be honest. I'm not a Joe Biden supporter.

Maybe you can share some reasons why?

I was just thinking of how we can best obey our Lord and Savior when we feel there are political opponents in our local church, or local neighborhood, or social circles, or family, or whatever grouping, since we know we are to "love one another", and just in case we don't realize how total that is, it even hold true even if we have a conflict with anyone -- we are even instructed to "love your enemies", and that helps us realize there aren't exceptions to "love one another"!

So, it is really easier to come back to "love your neighbor as yourself" I was realizing when you can see your neighbor is just trying to do the best they can, or doing something harmless they enjoy like horseback riding or whatever, and so I think this video could be helpful, for practice, or to better see that the other side, be it democrat or republican, or just people that aren't even political, that they are all just people, like us (and all equally in need of Christ and all equally in need of love) --

Some of your Neighbors... :-) "Celebrating America"

Perhaps you will come to like him. I didn't watch much of the inauguration. I did listen to his speech, which was refreshing and hopeful.

I think it helps to withhold judgement until someone's work is finished. Or, if they are doing a horrible job, whenever the quality of the work becomes clear.

I was not a fan of Donald Trump when he was elected. But I understood that it was certainly possible that he might do a decent enough job. As time went along, it became evident to me that he was not a good President. Well, now he is gone and we have another, which is one of the nice things about our Republic.

Why not withhold judgement and see if President Biden does well?

There will come a time in life....when you go for a higher position in an organization or higher status in a familial event or setting....and you will get it...

But you will have people around you that will try to hinder you and talk negatively about you without cause. They will scandalize your name and hope that you are removed from your position swiftly. And they will spread this unmerited content for you around your workplace/dwelling with whoever will hear it.

When this time comes, do not be offended.... When this time comes, I hope you are honest again and know that this will not be because of jealousy or haters......it will be because of the law: "we can reap only what we sow."

So continue to sow whatever you desire to reap.....I find no fault in whichever seeds you desire to chose.

No reason why you should, you did miss a great rendition of the National Anthem by Lady Gaga.

I'm not a Joe Biden supporter. He didn't win because of me. I voted against him in both the primary and the election. I voted for Mike Bloomberg in the primary and Donald Trump in the election.
I voted for Bernie in the primaries and President Biden in the election. So I guess I did help him get elected.

I hope that Biden will be a one term President.
I think he'll be in for 8 years.

I do not like Joe Biden.
I do, I believe he's a good man.

If this offends some readers, I apologize.
Not a problem, people have to work very hard to offend me.

But I have to be honest. I'm not a Joe Biden supporter.
That's fine. He's the President of all Americans, but not all Americans are required to be his supporter.

Biden didn’t just fall off the Gaffe Truck, he’s a well known entity having been in politics for decades. We know his political leanings and he will likely give us few surprises in that area. People at his age do not shift world views.

I watched the inauguration of Trump and I most definitely did not vote for him or was a fan. I don't understand why you proudly announce that you didn't watch it just because you didn't vote for him.
It wasn't a celebration of anything, as Inaugurations usually are, but was a gathering of a tiny group of insiders--no ordinary people allowed--surrounded by enough troops needed to fight a small war. That was a show of force, a threat, not a celebration, and was nothing that had anything to do with the American people. All of that probably did summarize the outlook and nature of the new administration pretty well, but why it was that people didn't feel any connection to it is easy to understand.
