Rene, as an American I would like to personally apologize to Canada for the actions of the current "president" of the United States. What he did was nothing less than a criminal travesty, and it is going to harm thousands of Canadians and Americans. If I'd had my way, he never would have been placed in office to begin with, but I'm only one man with one vote.

Nevertheless, please pass along to your friend that not all of us down here below the 48th parallel agree with or support Biden's hare-brained decision to cancel the pipeline. It's nothing but a repeat of Obama's equally cruel and pointless crushing of the coal industry in 2009, which caused massive disruption, unemployment, skyrocketing prices, and accompanying social problems (bankruptcies, alcoholism, drug abuse, suicide, etc.), all for unproven ideas that eliminating use of fossil fuels will reverse global climate change. (It's utter nonsense, of course---one volcano can spew out more volatile gases with one eruption than all of mankind has since the beginning of recorded history, but that's a topic for another thread.)

In any event, please know that Alberta and Canada will be in my prayers. I am appalled and disgusted with Biden's actions, and utterly ashamed that he is the representation of my country to the world.

I greatly appreciate this gesture and your prayers even more. Hard times will be coming for many of us on either side of the border. Thankfully, God has taken very good care of me lately and I have faith He will continue to do so. I will also pray God takes good care of you guys, our "big brother" on this continent.
