There are still people convinced that Joe Biden will not be inaugurated. We have some extremism that will need to be rooted out in this country. Today will at least begin the process breaking the false reality they promote.

Alright, this is it, president elect-Biden is walking towards the podium to be sworn in, are the military tribunalists going to burst out of the doors at a dead run? Is space force going to beam him out? I'm holding my breath over here!

There can't be very many of those, and there's no prospect of them doing anything about it anyway.
So what's the point in ordering up 26,000 soldiers in order to make sure that what won't happen anyway really, really won't happen, except to accustom the populace to living under martial law?

You keep harping on this. It’s silly for two reasons.
First, the national guard was there in past inaugurations, too. At Trump’s, there were 8,000. Please explain how 8,000 is okay, but 26,000 is an oppressive show of force?
Second, Joe Biden didn’t call those soldiers. Joe Biden wasn’t president until just now. They were brought in by the Trump administration. So why are you complaining to Biden about something that happened on Trump’s watch?

But I did not have a motive behind this thread, except to learn something. That is why I wrote this. No need for mocking. But I get how it all works now.

I wasn't hoping for Trump, but I wasn't hoping for Biden either. I had no motive behind this thread. I agree and disagree with both sides.

Well, I have known for a while that the election results will stand. This thread was created a while ago. I am not unhappy with the results. I know some people are. But I am not.
