There's a way to communicate that encourages discussion, and a way to communicate that silences discussion and leaves people walking away unenlightened...

Homosexuals, like yourself, are fallen human beings. They, as yourself, are not beyond salvation. All things are possible through Christ our Lord.

Might help to consider.
Yes, I do believe that perverts can convert, but that wasn't my point.

I'm not hear to promote discussions, but to glorify my Master, by telling the truth simply.

If people walk away from the light, then we both know what kind of people they are, but if they come to the light, as we are, then they will repent, and have fellowship with us, and the blood of Christ will wash them from ALL sins.

Do you think that calling them derogatory names like "perverts", and comparing them to "maggots on meat" is really showing them a Christ they'd want anything to do with?

Christ, our perfect example, prayed "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" right after he was unjustly tortured and right before he was murdered without cause...

That is our perfect example of love... it is our job to embody that, through the power of the Holy Spirit. And while we may sometimes fall short, it is an example by which we receive life, and others also. That is the truth.

Therefore I ask again, do you think your words invite? Or repell?

Actually, Sodom and Gomorrah are given specifically as an example of what the world will be before God burns it all to the ground, so ya, the "gays" are the sign of the times,

What a sad, pessimistic view that renders the Jesus and His Church impotent and powerless in the age of the everlasting Gospel where righteousness dwells, which Jesus Himself ushered into existence.

Contrary to your sad, sorry defeatism, scripture teaches us
we are to subdue kingdoms and establish righteousness as the Hebrews 11 heroes did:

Hebrews 11:6, 32-33
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him...for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions

The Christian Church walks in this great heritage of unstoppable faith just like our Hebrews 11 brothers and sisters. We are in process of subduing kingdoms, establishing righteousness, and asserting Christ's dominion over all nations through the same faith of David, Samuel, Joshua, and Moses had.
Nothing can stop us (Matthew 16:18-19).

2 Corinthians 5:18-20
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as God did beseech you by us

So we can see that at this time God is reconciling all the world unto himself.

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them [past tense]: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 2:13
ye have overcome the wicked one.

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

like maggots on meat, the more you see, the more rotten it is, and the sooner it gets burned, the better.

Compared to the state of the planet 2000 years ago, there is no question that both the moral sense and the covenantal reality of nations have been radically changed for the better by Christ and the Church. Here's a great quote from David Chilton about the progress of Christendom:

"Examples could be multiplied in every field. The whole rise of Western Civilization - science and technology, medicine, the arts, constitutionalism, the jury system, free enterprise, literacy, increasing productivity, a rising standard of living, the high status of women - is attributable to one major fact: the West has been transformed by Christianity. True, the transformation is not yet complete. There are many battles ahead. But the point is that, even in what is still largely an early Christian civilization, God has showered us with blessings." - David Chilton

Just look at how Christian post- and a-millennialists built this great country!

And, sadly, just look at how Christian pre-millennialists abandoned this country. Since the mid-1800s, C.I. Scofield and DL Moody and Hal Lindsey (and even you here) have been teaching a message that America is doomed "according to the bible." They even taught that voting and participation in civil duties were pointless. Such "prophetic inevitibility" and doomsaying doesn't create kingdom-buliders like Moses or Paul or George Washington--it creates only visionless do-nothing Christians. Only kingdom-advancing views such as preterism, postmillennialism, and certain ranks of amillennialism will be able to save our country and empower Christians to build newer and more godly ones for the future. America wasn't built by dispensationalists, but it sure has been hurt by them. Their theology of defeat must be resisted and trumped by the victorious truth about Christ and the kingdom.

None of this speaks kindly for the cowardice, abandonment, and dereliction of duty dispensational pre-millennialists have taught to our country and the Church. Endtimes madness--like that which paralyzes most pre millennialists and prevents them from experiencing the victory of our faith--must be ended if America is to return to her great heritage. The heathens aren't supermen, they're just plain old pagans who believe there is a future, and that the future belongs to anyone with the courage to fight for it.

The constant fearful statements and despair that pre milennialists express about the world and their daily lives shows us that their doctrine that fuels such a "defeat mentality" is not based on FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE. Compare Joshua to the other spies who were afraid and gave a bad report about the land. That story is like post millennialists and and pre millennialists today. Pre Mil's are the spies who always fearfully say "there are giants in the land!" Post and A-Millennialists are the JOSHUAS who say "THE LAND IS OURS! LET'S TAKE IT. God has given the land to US!"

We must not be fooled by the cowardly Christians that say "b-b-but...there are giants in the land! (or in your case, "b-b-but there are maggots on the meat!")

Both: they repel Sodomites and attract Israelites.

PS: You'd do well to show more love to me, a stranger to you, and fellow in Christ. I warn you, because it appears to me that you have turned your energy to attacking me and defending them.

I tell the truth, that is all, so please beware.

You have judged me poorly: I am here for war, spiritual war, and I'm forbidden from taking prisoners.

The true cowards are those who do cower to the racists and perverts that do run the land--I call my brothers to war against these sons of Satan, for the glory of my Master, who will soon come.

You've been careless, brother, to attack me, but I fear that my biggest opposition will be from within my ranks, and not from without, for those who are without are so obviously wrong, that they stand no chance against the truth, but to turn and run.

I am sad, but I will continue, even if means rooting our deceivers in my own ranks.

I realize you are relatively new to CF, but Your pessimistic, defeatist kind are a dime a dozen around here friend. You do all share in common a 100% prediction failure rate however, so at least there's that...

Yet you are preaching retreat..you are preaching the failure of the gospel in this age, which is really weird. Fortunately your "tilting at windmills" will have no effect upon the unstoppable Victory of Christ and the gospel in this present age.
Like the spies who gave the false warning about Giants in the land, The true Gospel warriors really have no use for your defeatism and pessimism as we march onward to victory.

for the glory of my Master, who will soon come.

He's always "soon to come" with you guys isn't He?
Do you mean the same thing the apostles meant when they said He was "coming soon"? or do you mean something different? Do you know something the infallibly inspired Holy apostles didn't? Seems like you think you do.
I am sad, but I will continue, even if means rooting our deceivers in my own ranks.

I am sad you hold the power of gospel to transform humanity, in such a low regard.

I will pray for you.

Maimay, I understand your angst as I feel it too. There is a reverse oppression taking place in the world right now.

You can almost hear them saying, "Its your turn to suffer now."

I saw this in Zimbabwe after the africans got their independence or right to rule and I called it reverse racism. Now the world faces this through BLM.

Understand that this was predicted in the Bible [you will be surprised how much of what has happened over the years has been predicted in the Bible] and Jesus said it would happen so don't let it steal your joy.

Rather rejoice for you know by these things that he is coming soon so, look up for your redemption draws nigh.

I don't know if changing banks will help much and I don't live in Canada so can't advise you on that line.

Concerning these self-opinionated Americans, there were prophets of their own in the past who said they had visions from God showing people roaming the streets with AKs. This happened during this last election with Biden's support but none of them noticed how it fulfilled the prophetic picture of their own prophets. But when people rioted in support of Trump... how evil! One was individuals expressing their democratic right while the other is destructive to democracy. Go figure.

You think a picture of a gay couple is oppressive?

Thank you all for your advice and comments. In my opinion, I believe the occurrence of homosexuality, adultery, and all other matters originates from our own fall/guilt, and not belong to God’ original design. Additionally, I am deeply aware that each of the flaws is because of the world, including myself. Thus what we need to do is to treat it with love, not hatred or discrimination against.
you say this but you express outrage and revulsion that a bank would dare to depict members of a minority in their advertisements.

It is not only about the sympathy or empathy, but it is the responsibility of each of us as human beings. Please notice that my object was the bank action, not the people from the picture themselves. Though we are all flawed, what we need to maintain is an ideal imagination and the faith to The Lord God. It is not for Him, but for ourselves, because everything, even the least, He does towards us, is for us. A pure and clean world is the only way that benefits everyone. If I commit to an adultery, I cannot convince myself that I am totally clean, but that’s the matter between God and I. The love you show me in this situation is that you do not judge what I am doing. But more than anyone else, I would love a future where there is no one experiencing things that I am experiencing, a world of original design where true and faithful love shines. If RBC supports adultery like what is in my story, they are bad to me not good. Love is more subtle than superficial actions. We sympathize with each other and all aim at a pure world and all faithful to God is the best to help each other. Please remember RBC did that for their profit, not to show their love to anyone. Likewise, a pair of gays is lovable and we must include them like anyone else because of both what God requires us to do and our responsibility. But that’s not a standard of living. Be careful! You met a man with his second wife and show your unbiased love to them is far different from you symbolize adultery. The former does help them while the latter does harm them. And they don’t like the way you advertise it I believe. Everyone is imperfect but everyone loves perfection. RBC was wrong (if they respect the Christian majority) because they normalized a style that is against the core value of the Bible. Notice that Jesus shows more restriction towards these relationships. He asked husband and wife not to divorce while Moses allowed. The world is made of males and females. And whatever taken out of the Law He would require it to be more righteous not less. The way our ancients showed discrimination against each other was against Jesus’ lectures but they didn’t realize it, though they have received what they deserved to. Gays are obviously not truly happy with their sexual lives, to be honest, because their way of making love is unnatural and because the satisfaction that we achieve through sex does not last long while they do not yield reproduction. Please see lesbians, gays, adultery, diseases etc. as flaws of this world where everyone is responsible for. But maintaining a clean imagination and the faith is the righteousness and for all of us.
the only flaw or disease i see is your personal bigotry.
