If Biden fails to be inaugurated, then it will be because Trump spent the last four years preparing for this moment. He knew that the deepstate (FBI, CIA, and judiciary) were against him, so if anything happens it will be through the military.

Trump doesn't have some grand plan. He didn't spend the last two months failing at court cases left and right so he could enact some amazing plan and save the world at the exact last minute.

This isn't a movie, there is no surprise climax coming. Joe Biden is going to be the President of the United States in less than 48 hours.

Donald didn't like the fact that Hilary got millions of votes more than him.
Once Donald took over the power of the USA he commissioned and investigation into voter fraud.
The result of that investigation was that there was no significant voter fraud.

It's four years later. We shouldn't have to guess. If Donald makes an accusation, he should substantiate that by presenting his evidence. The investigation that he commissioned, came up empty handed and so now we have Trump supporters guessing how Trump knew. Just as they are currently guessing how Trump knows that Biden stole the 2020 election. Trump's lawyers were unable to bring any compelling cases to the courts.

You need to understand that for President Donald Trump, this isn't just about winning, he has a lot of skin in the game, his own, and his family's. From the moment he won in 2016, there was no going back. Winning in 2016 meant that draining the swamp was a do or die mission. Having seen the way the opposition attempted again and again to remove him from office, it was obvious that even if he lost in 2020, or didn't stand for election again, they would never leave him alone. If he fails to drain the swamp, he will spend the rest of his life fighting to keep himself and his family out of prison. Not because he's done anything wrong, at least certainly not more than an average president, but because the Left are unbelievably vindictive.

You need to understand that Trump wasn't actually draining the swamp (as in fighting corruption). This was all about financially benefitting Trump, and when he spoke of draining the swamp, he really just wanted to ensure that he was the biggest swamp creature of them all, making "Trump" synonymous with the state.

He'll be fighting to keep himself and family out of prison because he's been engaged in criminality, hiding behind legal protections given to him as POTUS.

The movers have delivered Trump's stuff to Florida. One big final round of corrupt pardons, and Trump will be out the door Wednesday morning.

I would suggest that you need to read the Constitution. I trust the military will "uphold the Constitution" by allowing Biden to be sworn in as President, safely and without incident. To this point, despite the whinging by Pres Trump, the Constitution has been properly followed and confirmed Pres. Elect Biden as the winner of the election. Any attempt by the military or other individuals to stop the inauguration would be an Unconstitutional coup, leading to a "Banana Republic" or other type of dictatorship.

We have been thought that US democracy will survive because it has checks and balance. No individual can overthrow our democracy. Unfortunately, past four years we have seen the weakness of the guardrail of our democracy. In these dark days we seen Judiciary branch stood out and did their job, and US military so far "uphold the Constitution" and they have no interest in interfering in domestic politics. It seems like US military leadership has more respect for the US democracy then all of the GOP elected officials combined.

This is just so disgusting and depressing. 75% of the repuboican party seems to have left reality.

I'm not sure whether it's sad or funny at this point. You look online and even on this forum, and you see so many people who are just convinced that Biden isn't going to be inaugurated. They don't have any doubt that Trump will be the President in three days, no doubts that the Capital assault was all an Antifa/BLM false flag, no question in their mind that the fraud was real and that, sooner or later, something will happen that will prove them right. And it's been this way for the past two months - how many times have people on this forum seemed so sure that the courts would come through for them or the election would be overturned by this lawsuit or that lawsuit, only to be disproven time and time again?

I'd like to hope that, after Wednesday, they might start to accept the reality of the situation. But, more likely, they'll just move on to the next fantasy. I expect we'll start hearing about how Biden is going to be impeached and Trump will retake his office that way, completely ignoring that that is absolutely not how that works.
