Your optimism appears to be unshakeable. I'm a pessimist but I would like to be a realist.
Actually, I'm certain Trump didn't get in.

My OP was more of an appeal to how people may have misunderstood what God said, if He said anything at all.

I never thought God said Trump would win.

Me neither.

I remember the spiritual force that was at work when Trump got in. It has been removed, so he didn't have it anymore.

That's called a "rubber prophecy."

In every revival there is a period of repentance. A time when people, sorry when Christians repent of their sins, of their failure to live as a Christian.
Those who prophesied out of their imagination were either Christian or church leaders or very vocal Christians and they need to equally publicly repent.

Any revival will be lead by that.

Repentance is definitely part of it, but observation of patterns of when a revival stopped and started seems to indicate there's more to it than that.

Trump lost the election. No second term. To get revival the church needs Jesus. Persecution brings pain and suffering. The word of God brings life.

There will be revival when persons repent of their sins and return to God ...

It's easy to tell who God doesnt use prophetically.
However, not so easy to find agreement amongst all the people in the room - who those people are.

The reason people seek a revival is due to the impression that, only the Holy Spirit can make this happen.

There is some potential of that. But lots of those people were Antifa or the extreme deranged end of MAGA.

I see a lot of other possibilities such as

1) Politics is important, but it is not all important. There comes a time when people have to realize they put to much focus and attention on it, and it has become an idol or a distraction from their spiritual life.

2) A)There have been lots of problems going on with the Prophetic Movement for years. If Biden does take office as scheduled and remains etc. this will not be the first time their has been a huge prophetic belly flop.... this is only the biggest and most visible due to You-tube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

B) As I've spoken before their is lots of things that are off with todays prophesy. In my day, I've received some good words and personal prophesy, but I've seen a lot of stuff that I think in retrospect is people prophesying out of their soul etc. And what worse is their is a giant excuse complex to justify that, which is worrisome. The prophet Samuel had "no words fall to the ground" according to one verse in Chronicles and Kings. We currently are suppose to be living under a "better" covenant than the one of the Old Testament, that is better in every way than that of the old according to saint Paul in one verse in Hebrews.

C) I think there are a lot of people out there that fit the profile of Hananiah. Jeremiah 28:1-17

3) I also really wonder about the general concept of Revival expectations, and I tend to feel the skepticism rising within me if I spend my time listening to some people especially, like Rick Joyner. Certain Charismatics especially those in NAR talk about the Jesus Movement, Welsh Revival etc. It's interesting how as much as those people love those movements and want to see some kind of modern return, they also at different times admit to some of the negative things that happened. How things were mismanaged, how people didn't follow common sense, how churches exploded and closed down etc. And sometimes when add up all that stuff it makes a big impression on you, like asking "Why are you pining for that anyway?" (In light of admissions that their wasn't a lot of lasting fruit). Because it often comes across that people are really into revival are just excitement junkies. Basically Charismatic and Pentecostals can often equate excitement with "the anointing" and that can lead to a lot of problems....

Hello Michael. Sadly there could be another path. That is that people outside the church and even inside see all the false prophecies and the lack of repentance for them and are turned off the gospel as a result. God Bless :)
