His adminstration said nothing in December. According to Dr Fauci, when he and his crew went to Trump recommending shutting down the economy, Trump did as they recommended

No, Trump did not. Governors did.

Refusing to take responsibility. Everything good it was because of him. Anything bad that happened it wasnt his fault. He showed to be a terrible leader.

Thinking and treating covid as it was just bad pr for him and acting like it would just go away(ignoring it ) instead of caring about it and dealing with . Yeah covid exposed him as a clown.

It's how you deal with a crisis that can define a presidency, and Trump failed.
Totally agree. I generally thought he was decent enough his first 3 years, but the fourth year, with the virus outbreak and the race problems, he demonstrated that he was an incompetent leader in times of crisis. One of the primary things we want in a president is someone who steps up, leads, and brings people together during difficult times. He failed at that.

"Why did Trump lose": Election fraud.
This requires the GOP to be blindly incompetent in allowing it to happen* in the first place.
If the GOP is that incompetent, maybe they shouldn’t be anywhere near the levers of power?

*election fraud didn’t occur, just so we’re clear, Joe Biden won fair and square.

When your response to the question "What do you have to tell a frightened America?" is to insult the reporter who asked the softball question, that shows you are not capable of leading.

We'd have to presume GOP leaders of several states were actually complicit in the fraud, inasmuch as they owned and ran the voting processes.

He had multiple people close to him begging him to take it seriously. He did nothing after having dismantled protection that lead to us being months behind on response.

"Why did Trump lose": Election fraud.
Yet the courts across over 56 cases said there was absolutely no evidence. So, yet another ridiculous conspiracy theory comes up by Trump and swallowed up by nut - jobs. Fortunately the people of the USA have spoken and fired that hapless train wreck Trump

True! The details of the mitigation was left up to the governors. But my point was, the first time Dr Faci went to the Trump suggesting moving foreword with mitigation, Trump did as advised. To say Trump refused to listen to the experts is wrong; IMO he did what any president would have done. That was the point I was trying to make.

You're not alone in thinking that. Of course, we ought not do away with free elections if we think one of the parties is asleep at the switch, but when Democratic governors and legislators began changing many of the election laws and procedures in advance of the 2020 election that they'd been pointing towards from the minute Trump won the 2016 election, the GOP should have been alert enough to try to do whatever could be done to insure than fair elections would continue to be held.

They, however, made only a weak response to the new procedures initiated in many blue states to facilitate voting by non-citizens, distribute ballots through the mails in an indiscriminate manner, allow mail-in votes without proper signature, legalize 'vote harvesting' by which one person fills out a ballot for another away from the polling place, and on and on.

All of this easily made up the margin between victory and defeat in 2020, but the truth is that the GOP--as you suggest--had not responded in a very deliberate way to such changes when they were being installed. As a result, the Party paid the price in November.

His policies were beneficial as a rule, economy great. He had trouble controlling his mouth. Covid was an issue that no one could have beat, dems harped on it, placing the blame on him. It was a disingenuous yet effective strategy.
Being a Washington outsider and not a career politician he didn't lie as smoothly as the 'Swampthings.' He also didn't give a poo what they thought about his attitude, in fact enjoyed the conflict.
A diplomat is someone who can tell you to go to hell and you are happy to be on your way. He is not a diplomat.

His mouth. His tweets. His tweets. His mouth.
Dems stuck to a tied and true philosophy, 'If you throw enough mud, some of it will stick.
It's a different generation, money grows on trees, and who doesn't like free stuff?
As to him being a Christian, who knows? He did however have the support of many in that community which disturbed the easily disturbed.

Most of them refused to consider the evidence. And when the Attorneys General of a large number of states took an important issue to the SCOTUS, they were told they didn't have standing! It wasn't about the evidence.

You are correct about what happened initially. As I mentioned a bit earlier in this discussion, I thought he might be able to follow through with that and mitigate covid. However, he soon turned from that and it exposed how terrible a leader during crisis he is. So in the end, he did not listen to experts.

Trump’s highest job approval ratings and lowest disapproval ratings came right when COVID was starting to get bad in the United States. It was a rally around the flag type moment and I thought Trump was going to ride it to a win in November. He didn’t even need a great COVID response, UK’s hasn’t been good but that type of response would have been enough to win another four year. All Trump had to do was direct the limelight to someone who knew what they were talking about, then back to him for some somber words and then to another person. But Trump couldn’t stand not being in the spotlight. The #1 reason Trump is moving out of the White House on Wednesday is because Donald Trump couldn’t get out of his own way.

The judges looked at the evidence presented (at least 60 times) and found it insufficient to stop the process or overturn votes. That means your allegations are false and you and others are repeatedly spreading the lies of Mr. Trump. The states’ AG’s are absolutely free to investigate possible crimes and a few have been noted in these threads

Again, what high ranking officials are engaging in illegal acts by keeping the stat AG’s, the DOJ and other agencies from investigating?????????
