Well, I'm less than 10 minutes in and he's already taken the Lord's name in vain once. Boy, oh boy, that really solidifies him as a virtuous pastor.

"If we have an executive order from Heaven, then whose job is it on the earth to execute the order?"

This man's gonna get people killed.

He's telling people that it's their job to send angels into battle and "release them to do the Lord's will". What? Since when do people order angels around? This man is straight nuts.

Every word out of this guy's mouth is false and dangerous. I'm not even 15 minutes in. I have a feeling, if I keep watching it, I'll just keep ranting here, and nobody wants to see that, so... that's enough for me.

I am skipping through it trying to find where he was quoted from. I have an eye appointment here in a little bit, so you will probably hear it before I can get to it.

At 51:00 minutes he starts talking about Jericho and the sound of war. He mentions DC briefly. Then something about Jericho again and the drums. Then something about them loosing the sound of war. Then says there is a sound, a sound that needs to be loosed over Washington D.C.

Then some singing/chanting and back to loosing sound over D.C. Then some woman had an assignment with the flags that you are seeing as a prophetic act of the sound going around Jericho/D.C. and they have to do a Jericho march on DC symbolically.

Looks like from about 51 minutes and on is what the article was speaking of. Wait, there is more in-between the circling till more speaking.

Okay, I am up to 1:10:15 and he is talking about God having D.C. under siege by his angels.

I have to go to my eye appointment now. So, I will listen more when I get back.

Most of what I heard was from around 10:00 - 15:00. What you describe is really disturbing. It plays on people's emotions and hopes and desires for good attributes like justice and fairness and victory. But it twists and warps Scripture, and relies on emotional hysteria rather than calm, rational thinking and reasoning. There is no "trust God, wait on God, let God fight the battles" with these types. It's very cult-like and troubling.

There is a common Q meme, that's about to come crumbling down... have you seen the tag line "trust the plan" on all the Q Tee shirts and bumper stickers?? well, the plan, apparently, is that last Wednesday was a test run, and now Trump is going to stage the REAL coup, with the military staunchly behind him, by weeks end...Declare martial law, - all the National Guard posting up at the capital are going to get their REAL marching orders any minute now, turn on the congress and arrest all but 10 Senators, and all but 100 Representatives. Trump will suspendthe constitution, take over the purse strings of the nation and schedule new "elections" for March - He's going to Finally defeat the Lizard people, and child eating pedophile ring that makes up 100% of the Democratic party and over 50% of the Repubs... He was sent by God to save us all from the Satanic cult that has been in control for a hundred years or more. All by tomorrow... or maybe Sunday... but for sure by the 19th.

It's fascinating from the psychological standpoint. And sad, and a little frightening.

I went through a phase as a (much) younger person where I read everything I could concerning 'cults' from various perspectives, and it's only gotten worse from there. It really is fascinating all the craziness that people fall into.

I can't tell if this is satire or not. Weird times.

Proof tongues can be used to decieve.

I already knew that from attending my ex-wife's small congregation. So. Much. Wrong. The pastor even argued with me about something that is clearly written in the Bible and doesn't change when looking at it in different translations. Had to do with Jacob and how long he worked for his two wives.

This is why I stick to mainline churches.

I've mentioned that. I'm a gun owner myself, and I've had to curtail training because of the difficulty of getting ammunition over the last nine months. My dealers tell me that people are waiting every morning for the shipments to come in and buying them out.

And it's not all the "new gun owners this year," either, because the typical new gun owner buys a couple of boxes of ammunition, puts the gun and ammo into a drawer, and doesn't open that drawer again.

Simply read the verses and read through the thread. You will not find any verses from our Lord, and or His followers that support the use of violence. On the contrary Jesus and His followers taught the exact opposite (Non-resistance). Those who own a gun, and or who have relied on their gun will find it harder to accept such verses on Non-resistance in the Bible. It will be as if these verses do not even exist for them when they read them. For they have let their outside life experience cloud their way of thinking.

Actually, I own a gun and will use it to protect my family against crime. I don't regard such use as "righteous," however, but the result of sin and within a cloud of sin. It would be something I'd have to pray for forgiveness afterward.

If I were as perfectly faithful as Jesus, I'd be confident that I'd be able to find away out of such situations rather than violence.

That has been on my mind lately. I could never imagine hurting anyone, except maybe if right there, a gun was pointing at my daughter. But I wonder what the right reason for a war would be. If and when a Christian should take up arms against the government .

Never a good reason. Even being taken to the lions, to the crosses, burned at the stake, frozen in the lake, Christians did not resort to armed rebellion.

It's only now--because there are Christians who believe that worldly governments are the property of God (rather than the casual tools of God) that they think they should fight for them. But scripture tells us that governments are the creations of Satan. God, as sovereign, bends them to His ultimate will as He chooses.

The answer to my defense on Non-Resistance is in this thread (that you already replied to before).
All I can do is encourage you to recheck over the verses again, and to pray about it.

Nonresistance as Taught in the New Testament is Moral and Good.
