Interesting. When he was governor of California he supposedly hired someone to help him tone it down a bit and found little success in doing so. While I am throwing out questionable facts about Mr Schwarzenegger's accent he was also supposedly not allowed to do the german dub of his dialogue in The Terminator as his accent is more rural and would be like having someone with a thick southern accent doing the english dub of a foreign film character.

It was a bit cringe and not all that accurate in terms of the reality of metal working but not the point of the comparison. The point comes through even if the metaphor was not perfect.
