The mRNA COVID-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer and Moderna do not require the use of any fetal cell cultures in order to manufacture (produce) the vaccine. Early in the development of mRNA vaccine technology, fetal cells were used for “proof of concept” (to demonstrate how a cell could take up mRNA and produce the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein) or to characterize the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were found to be ethically uncontroversial by the pro-life policy organization the Charlotte Lozier Institute. Further, Brian Kane, senior director of ethics for the Catholic Health Association of the United States, in an interview for the America: The Jesuit Review stated: “In terms of the moral principles of being concerned about the use of any pharmaceuticals that were developed from aborted fetuses, that is certainly an issue that we all want to be cognizant of and try to avoid their use. With that in mind, the Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines that are coming out are not even tainted with that moral problem. - https://www.health.nd.gov/sites/www... A good and easy read. Should help allay fears of those concerned with fetal tissue use.

"Ordinary vaccines tend to be inactivated or weakened viruses which, when injected into the body, stimulate an immune response that can later protect against the live pathogen. But the process of making such vaccines requires various chemicals and cell cultures. This takes time and provides opportunities for contamination.
mRNA vaccines don’t have these problems. They instruct the body itself to make the offending proteins…

BioNTech and Moderna shortcut this process, by skipping the whole fiddly business in the nucleus with the DNA. Instead, they first figure out what protein they want — for example, a spike on the coat around a virus. Then they look at the sequence of amino acids that makes this protein. From that they derive the precise instructions the mRNA must give.

This process can be relatively fast, which is why it took less than a year to make the vaccines, a pace previously unimaginable. It’s also genetically safe — mRNA can’t go back into the nucleus and accidentally insert genes into our DNA…

Covid-19, fingers crossed, may turbo-charge all these processes. The pandemic has led to a grand debut of mRNA vaccines and their definitive proof of concept. Already, there are murmurs about a Nobel Prize for Kariko."

I'm not if it has fetal tissue in it.

There are some points that need to be considered and discussed and I do NOT expect anyone to agree with these. In fact, I am most likely wrong about all of this...

1.) Please research, fact-check, and verify these claims with AT LEAST two or three credible sources. I am NOT talking about online conspiracy websites of unconfirmed origin, I am talking about websites that are pro-science, possess a high or very high factual reporting rating on Media Bias [dot] com, and preferably ending with the .org, .edu, and .gov domain names.

2.) While I am VERY saddened by the existence of abortion, we must be careful NOT to allow ourselves getting to the point of moral vanity during a crisis like this.

3.) In situations like COVID-19, the only option is sadly having to choose between the lesser of the two evils. Either allow aborted baby parts to be used in these vaccines or risk further spreading the corona virus. The latter will continue to put everyone currently ALIVE and perfectly capable of producing future generations at risk of death until a God-pleasing option is discovered. Please pray for this God-pleasing option to happen.

Like I said, I am NOT expecting anyone to agree with these, I am just giving some food for thought. I know this is NOT an easy decision. We all have free will and God cares more about the motive than the actual deed.

Always remember: God is in control and pray to Him ALWAYS!

As for the speed of vaccine development, the virus itself is "severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)". So it is a strain of the 2002-2004 SARS-CoV-1 virus. So although this virus is new to humans, researchers had been working on treatments and vaccines for 18 years from the first one. I got my first shot on Tuesday and had some soreness for a day or two. I get the second on Feb 2. No urge to eat human flesh so far!

I don't care if the pope is willing to over-look the link to fetal tissue, I want no part of it.

THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS
Vatican OKs Receiving COVID-19 Vaccines, Even If Research Involved Fetal Tissue.
The Vatican says that it's "morally acceptable" to receive a vaccination for COVID-19, even if the vaccine's research or production involved using cell lines derived from aborted fetuses, given the "grave danger" of the pandemic.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Vatican office charged with promoting and defending church morals and traditions, said in a document released Monday that "when ethically irreproachable Covid-19 vaccines are not available ... it is morally acceptable to receive Covid-19 vaccines that have used cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research and production process."

Pope Francis approved the text on Thursday, Vatican News reported.

The pope has been a non-traditional leaning pope, but I didn't expect him to approve of the use of aborted fetuses. Isn't the Catholic Church against abortion?
Yes, very much so. I can't understand what the pope thinks he's doing. But there will be a time when even the elect will be deceived. (Matthew 24:24)

Here are some prayers and Psalms I HIGHLY recommend reciting every morning and evening:

The Lord's Prayer (NKJV) (Matthew 6:5-14)

9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Daily Psalms over Multiple People
Ephesians 6:17-20, Jeremiah 29:11-13, 1 John 5:13-15, Mark 11:22-24, Matthew 7:7-12, 1 Timothy 2:1-7

In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ, I say to You, Father God, the following Psalms for protection, faith, hope, and because we love you. And over my loved ones and myself:

[Title + Names] (e.g. Mother Helen, Brother Luke, Friend Adam, City Arcadia, Maryland, etc.)

Amen!

Psalm 91 (NKJV) - Prayer For Protection
Read Out Loud After 6:00 AM & 6:00 PM

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Psalm 40 (NKJV) - Prayer For Faith
Read Out Loud After 6:00 AM & 6:00 PM

1 I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
3 He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.

4 Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust,
And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done;
And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.

6 Sacrifice and offering You did not desire;
My ears You have opened.
Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require.
7 Then I said, “Behold, I come;
In the scroll of the book it is written of me.
8 I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart.”

9 I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness
In the great assembly;
Indeed, I do not restrain my lips,
O Lord, You Yourself know.
10 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart;
I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation;
I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth
From the great assembly.
11 Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
12 For innumerable evils have surrounded me;
My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up;
They are more than the hairs of my head;
Therefore my heart fails me.

13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me;
O Lord, make haste to help me!
14 Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion
Who seek to destroy my life;
Let them be driven backward and brought to dishonor
Who wish me evil.
15 Let them be confounded because of their shame,
Who say to me, “Aha, aha!”

16 Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
Let such as love Your salvation say continually,
“The Lord be magnified!”
17 But I am poor and needy;
Yet the Lord thinks upon me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
Do not delay, O my God.

PSALM 131 (NKJV) – Prayer for Hope
Read Out Loud After 6:00 AM & 6:00 PM

1 Lord, my heart is not haughty,
Nor my eyes lofty.
Neither do I concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too profound for me.

2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 O Israel, hope in the Lord
From this time forth and forever

All I will say is be careful with those two news sources. My reasons being the Media Bias result for LifeSiteNews (image and link below) and my lack of success finding fact-checking for the National Catholic Register so far. I have very little knowledge about prominent figures in the Roman Catholic denomination so please forgive my ignorance on any of this.

Please do not attack the sources. These things clergy have said can be easily researched and they did say them. This is not about left or right but what the Catholic Church teaches and instructs.
