Well since this whole situation is trumps fault . People have died because of his words and encouragement and not just this week . I would say cleansing is probably the appropriate word for Removing the filth trump has caused

What is sadly amusing is one's inability to deal with the reality of the moment by spewing off on some farcical rant having little to do with reality. Perhaps this will help... it isn't the unexpected circumstance or situation that arises but rather the management and leadership of such that is of critical import. So no trump didn't "cook up" COVID however, he can be judged on his handling of the pandemic. And no trump didn't actually "storm the capitol" however, incitement does not require a physical presence.

As to the use of "sacred" perhaps it is debatable though somewhat hyperbolic, I thought "forever" was extreme. As for "cleansing" again, debatable although some republicans have stated that the party needs to "die" ... obviously a party is not a living breathing life is it? Context is important, and the character of the person making the statement also adds to clarity ...

Careful. People tend to see what they want to. If one is determined to believe something or hate someone, they will do so. Right or wrong. They will do so.

People have been regarding the President as some sort of messiah and he was willing to assume that role so hence the word 'sacred.' Does that make VP Pence a Judas or a Peter? Someone should start a poll.

It is reported that Jeffery Dalhmer was saved in prison. I praise God if he was. But it would not mean that he should have been released from prison.

Nor would Trump's salvation mean he should have another term as president. In fact, if Trump were recently saved, scripture explicitly says he should not be placed in a position of leadership.

I wouldn't say messiah level, but pretty closed to it. I couldn't believe Christians were on their knees, praying at one of those voting places. So, well, maybe right on it, depend on what kind of (mental) Christian they were.

I mean, having boat regettas in Trumps name is a little out there. I had to disassociate myself with some friends on Facebook once I saw them taking selfies at these Trumper fan-fests. I mean, who celebrates a president in a way that someone celebrates their favorite football team in a way they paint their bodies and faces red-white-and-blue?

He called the election a "landslide" for himself, and claimed that was also... 'sacred'(!)

But, Our Savior says:
