Trump does a 180, and throws his followers under the bus:

7:20 p.m.

President Donald Trump is conceding to President-elect Joe Biden and condemning the violent supporters of his who stormed the nation’s Capitol.

In a new video message Thursday, Trump says that now that Congress has certified the results, the “new administration will be inaugurated on Jan. 20” and his “focus now turns to ensuring a smooth orderly and seamless transition of power.”

He also spoke out against the violence, calling it a “heinous attack” that left him “outraged by the violence lawlessness and mayhem.”

Trump did not address his role in inciting the violence. But in the video, he tells his supporters that, while he knows they are “disappointed,” he wants them to know “our incredible journey is only just beginning.”

He was refusing to accept any responsibility for the attack. Whenever a court date is scheduled for him, I guarantee he will plead not guilty.

Here is a hint: Does Donald Trump use a serious tone of voice when he talks? Also look at body language. If his words and gestures seem to be mechanical, that is because they are: he was forced to concede this election result.

Yes, that's unexpected coming from Trump. The question is, should we believe him?

We should never believe a pathological liar (which is putting it nicely) unless there is undeniable proof his statements are honest and sincere. And all the proof points the opposite direction.

I don't feel thrown under the bus at all.

It could be because members of Trump's own administration are talking about invoking the 25th Amendment and if this happens, Trump could never run for president again.

I believe he still has eyes on running in 2024.

That's not throwing anyone under the bus., although it's good to see. To throw them under the bus, he'd have to say "I've looked at the evidence more carefully, and I'm convinced that Biden won fairly."

Well yes, but this is as close as you're going to get from Trump.
