Good morning :) This is our day to do what is possible with God. No amount of evil can stop God from doing what He pleases and is committed to doing with each of us, today.

We see how ones of both sides of the Donald Trump issues can interpret and use situations for their own purposes, whether their representations are correct or not.

But with Christ we can discover how God uses any trouble, even, for His good.

So, when things come to mess with us, to test us . . . put that problem to the test of prayer, so we can discover how with God we can make His use of it :)

Be submissive to God in His peace, and enjoy :)

But in case it is confirmed that an officer was killed by one of the attackers of the White House, we mourn him and pray for his family, plus we pray for the ones who have done criminal things. This is part of overcoming evil, I would say . . . to have hope even for evil people who have ruined themselves and done harm to other people.

Jesus told Peter not to use that sword. Because with God we can do better, in how we overcome >

"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." (Romans 8:37)

In Christ, we can do more and better than what conquerors try to do with their methods and weapons. We do not depend on force and deceit and charm, but we depend on God.

May we overcome evil, by not allowing evil to control and monopolize our attention away from God and from loving any and all people. And share as His family . . . n:)w.

And, of course, we care about the woman who died and anyone who has died or suffered during Black Lives Matter demonstrations, and Jesus also has us caring for any and all people, including the unborn.

I did not think of these while mentioning the officer. Thank You, God, how You are the One who knows and cares about everyone so better than I do; thank You for reminding us and having us to love any and all people. I need to become more genuine in caring about any and all people . . . in prayer . . . "first of all", as Your words says >

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

And if we obey this . . . consider how much Abraham has accomplished by obeying God >

"'In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.'" (Genesis 22:18)

Abraham was told this after he obeyed the LORD telling him to offer up his son Isaac, and then he obeyed by not doing it. It wasn't what he did, so much as whom he was obeying > he obeyed God who is all-loving; so his act of obedience has gotten an all-loving result > blessing "all the nations" < all-loving.

I see then how if you simply obey God, today, you could get more blessing done, than what many ungodly presidents and kings have accomplished in all their lifetimes combined. But if we use their methods and ways . . . there might be quantity, but not the quality.
