Trump truly is the best republican president the Democratic Party ever had.

His Presidency kind of looked like assisted suicide pact between him and GOP.

VERY SAD DAY FOR AMERICA! :(

Why are you sad that the people of Georgia have spoken, and elected their senators?

-- A2SG, or are you sad for some other, unrelated reason...

VERY SAD DAY FOR AMERICA! :(

Correction: it’s a sad day for a small minority of misled Americans.

And does it make you feel better to shout it?

I just posted a blog of the potential silver lining of this election. Seems to me the GOP lost the Senate.

I have a comment though about a 50/50 Senate. If they were to impeach VP Harris and remove her from office, or if Harris dies or becomes President, then the GOP could block the VP selection and until a new VP was named the Senate would run tied, causing issues in Majority leader etc. This is a very distinct possibility. Seems there is a blind spot in not having the Speaker also become VP until one is confirmed.

The current US regime has exposed a lot of blind spots in the US constitution, yes.

Yep. Let the whining begin!
So THAT'S what Trump meant! He didn't mean we'd get tired of all the winning. He meant we'd get tired of all the whining! Makes so much more sense now.

They could do that, but what would they gain from it?

Dems may sweep the runoff election and win senate majority. Watch Trump and the Republican lemmings melt down until Jan 20.

It's the collateral damage that concerns me. If all they did was self-destruct, that would be one thing, but since they're convinced that America is doomed anyway without their Great Leader...

In November, results were

Perdue 49.7
Ossoff 47.9
Hazel (libertarian) 2.3
other <0.1

Now it appears that Ossoff will win. What changed between November and now? The Republican reaction to the election. I think it's clear that Republicans lost the Senate through actions that voters viewed as unreasonable.

Or were persuaded by Donald that the elections rigged and did not bother voting. Either way spectacular own goal.

He won 2016 by not being a politician, and he's lost this time for the same reason.
