The case is not available online, it is too old. And the court orders are not so interesting, the interesting events happened during the stonewalling on the main court order. It was an education for me. It could have been more interesting, while the case was taken pro bono it would cost a hefty sum for depositions to be taken in the Washington D.C. area and it was just too much money per hour. But at the end a different judge, a judge magistrate, ordered attorneys from four different agencies to fly in from D.C. to resolve the case. The case was resolved in chambers, although I almost did not get to participate. The local assistant federal attorney started speaking very loudly, almost yelling, partially blocking the doorway and saying that I was not an attorney and I was not allowed in the judge's chambers. I then presumed it was a rule or something, and I wasn't going to go in but the lead litigator started motioning me in -- later he told me that once I was inside it was up to the judge. The judge even allowed me to speak. I can sympathize with the observers who were blocked and told there were already too many Republican observers, etc. (according to one affidavit it was said in one city that a number of Democrat observers wore the color for Republican observers, thus they could say the Republicans had reached their limit).
