Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Really born again?
Are you a doer or a hearer?
Do you put your beliefs and your ways of thinking in a box?
Be not deceived.
Moses and the children of God and most of the Old Testament is used as an example for us.
If we want to be saved, we must repent and keep Gods law. We are still under the law (Moses) until God perfects us or sanctifies us (Love written on our hearts which keeps the law). We as doers, must work on our salvation with fear and trembling… and not by obeying the desires of our flesh (lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life). We are commanded to obey what God commands us to do (follow righteousness).
A believer is one who believes all the words in the Bible (knowledge) and acts to do what is said (a doer). Not someone who agrees with what is said (a hearer). If you are not doing all that Jesus says to do, it is like looking up in heaven to Jesus and saying “Jesus…I hear what you are saying…But I don’t feel like doing it your way… because my way is better… and my church knows better than you…and I cannot come into full agreement with what your word says.” And this happened because you became deceived in your way of thinking due to the cares and busyness of this world. On top of that, you drank way too much milk the church was ramming down your throat. And this has drowned any desire of repenting and fearing God that you might have had …if you had been properly instructed by a sanctified church. The devil is a roaming lion seeking who it can devour. There will be many false Christ and prophets and pastors who will come in Christ name. You will know them by their fruit. And their works will follow them. And if they are not bearing good fruit, God will gather them up and cast them in fire where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
When the seed is sown, you will reap a harvest (wisdom).
Sin is disobedience to God. Also known as the desires of the flesh. We automatically do what is evil (coveting, gossip, slander, lust…) and it is easy to do. It is harder to do what is right (love, giving, serving, patients, self control,…). We are commanded to die to the flesh so we can live in the spirit. How do we die to the flesh? Should your brother correct you if you sin?… in order to help your sanctification? Is your brother willing to receive correction himself when he sins?
We are under the control of demons believe it or not. Satan is the prince of the air and of this world. We are in a spiritual battle. If we aren’t fighting back, we are submitting and handing our souls over to the evil one. We are commanded to fight as in Ephesians 6. Take the whole armor of God.
Humbling ourselves in prayer to God is a key for Gods grace. If you truly want to do Gods will and pray or cry out for help because of the evil that is in us controlling us, God may eventually save us by the wilderness experience. When you sin because of bondage to demons and repent and try not do it and pray for help, God may show us grace by forgiving us of our sin because of the shed blood of Jesus. This is a process of sanctification and once you have the heart of Christ, sin won’t be in you anymore and God’s love and laws will be written on your heart and minds. This is called being born again. You need to go through a process of sanctification. Born again is not an overnight experience like today’s church teaches.
Fearing God is the beginning of wisdom.
Not many in bible history were saved in situations. The remnant of Noah’s flood was 8. The remnant of Sodom was 4… minus 1. The remnant of the original Israel from Egypt was two. God isn’t interested in numbers. He is interested in obedience.
There is a lot of deception going on today. Most people have closed minds and won’t look outside the box they put their selves in. This type of people is a good candidate for being deceived.
I find it hard to pray sometimes. I see others cry who are really repenting and I haven’t done this yet. I guess I don’t want it bad enough because it isn’t in all of my heart.
Are you living as the world? How do you know if you are a friend of the world? Does a deceived person know he is deceived?
Stay off the wide road. That road leads to distruction. The path to righteousness is small and narrow. Question anything the church is ramming down your throat. (Rapture, salvation, Romans Road, don’t have to follow the law, don’t have to be a doer of the word, don’t have to repent…). Or you may be deceived…and lose your salvation. God created us to love him and glorify him. We do part of that by keeping his word and believing what he tells us.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45...Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Another writing I did in 2009 and still agree with today.
