He did get three million fewer votes than Hillary. He just played the Electoral College game better than she did. Or rather his handlers did.
A few torched cop cars and some damaged property is honestly peanuts compared to the over 300 thousand American lives lost thanks to the efforts of this administration and the GOP leaders that enabled it to undermine public health policy. The destruction Trump and his cronies have caused to the country and to our politics can’t even be measured in dollars and cents.

You can only speculate on how many America lives would have been lost due to covid if Trump was not President and how do we even know for sure those numbers are truly accurate? I've heard numerous reports as far back as May of this year of people actually dying of other causes (who just happened to have covid) yet the toe tag reads death by covid. I've also heard the same thing from people who work in the medical field, so this whole covid pandemic has been fishy from the start and what a coincidence it just happened to hit during this election year.
I understand he was not completely alone and that was not my main point.

Anyone that's understands statistics knows why Trump is "most popular" and why it means nothing. On the right, as bad as he is,he is going to be far more popular than number two. On the left, Biden is not President yet. So he does not get that automatic boost. Take the survey again in four years and Biden will be on top.
I haven't excused anything. Just stating that whatever damage some riots may have caused pale in comparison to the ongoing damage we've sustained from Trump's failed policies and leadership. I place blame where it is merited. A person sets fire to a building, throw the book at the them. Send them to jail. A person downplays a developing crisis, undermines public health policy and encourages behavior that spreads a deadly virus and kills scores of thousands of people... hold them accountable to it. This isn't hard to follow.
As many Republicans did for the eight years before trump. Or have you completely (conveniently) forgotten about the whole "Obama was born in Kenya" campaign?
Based on recent events they seem to be a bigger fans of running over people with their cars.
