1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love among yourselves:
for loves shall cover the multitude of sins.

Knowing that Christ died for the sins of the whole world, I assume that the
multitude of sins Peter speaks is in reference to the offences of which Christ
instructed to forgive 70X7.

Matthew 18:
21
Then Peter came to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me,
and I forgive him? Up to seven times?

22 Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

After which The Lord tells "The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant", which is
essential to comprehending repentance and forgiveness. But then we see
another perspective in Luke.

Luke 17:
3
Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and

if he repents, forgive him.
4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day
returns to you, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.

You see the difference? In this narrative, the offending party repents to receive
forgiveness. It is essential that we let go of any offence received, because
bitterness, resentment etc...are toxic substances to our soul.
So we grant forgiveness regardless.
To receive forgiveness, we must repent.

Any Thoughts?

Since all fall short of the Glory of God, it is no wonder that God must be merciful, and such is His Love. As it has been said, to err is human, to Forgive is divine.

Wherefore forgiveness of others even before they repent is indicative of the faith that God is Holy and pure; For by extension all sin is the result of being deceived by The Single Lie, either directly or indirectly, that God is not Holy and Pure. Forgiveness is charitable when one recognizes this.

Jesus said that anyone who does not follow his teachings is like a man who built his house on sand, and the winds blew and the waters raged, and great was the fall of it.

This is like when Paul said, they will be saved, but their works burned.

Thus to receive forgiveness, we need to receive it - to produce works worthy of the world to come, we need to remain forgiving.

Fervent Love Is A Ministry of Intercession For One Another, As We Have Been Commanded

John 15:
11
These things I have spoken to you, that My Joy may remain in you, and your Joy
may be full.

12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing;
but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit,
and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

1 John 5:
14
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to
His Will
, He hears us.
15
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions
that we have asked of Him.
16
If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and
He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death
. There is sin leading to
death. I do not say that he should pray about that.
17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

The conclusion of the matter, is that if we acknowledge that Love is the fulfillment of the Law,
and do not pray for others that we see are struggling with their carnal nature, speaking unclean
words that reveal unclean thoughts in the spirit of their mind, then we are lying against the Truth.
This is fellowship with one another in Spirit and in Truth.

1 John 1:
5
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and
in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice
the Truth
.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
