I couldn't find anything in the budget that was on your list except Egypt. But I didn't bother looking for the central American countries. But I did a PDF search on key words like "Kennedy Space", "Gender", or "Smithsonian" and found no results. Could you please show me exactly where you found those items.

I’m Happy to google that for ya friend:

Here’s a great breakdown with links to the specific document sections and screenshots of those sections.
If you need more help after this, just ask.

Again, the list of items that oddly bother Trump all of the sudden, were included in his own budget request that he submitted to Congress earlier this year. It’s posted on the White House website with appendices and attachments that detail everything in his wish list last February which he now condemns. The dollar amounts Congress approved and sent to him for his signature are almost exactly what he wanted.

Let’s take a look at each item one-by one.

“$85.5 million for assistance to Cambodia”

This item is listed in the State Department appendix where it says:

CAMBODIA.— (1) ASSISTANCE.—Of the funds appropriated under title III of this Act, not less than $82,505,000 shall be made available for assistance for Cambodia

WhiteHouse-budget-assistance-for-Cambodia.png

www.whitehouse.gov/...

“$134 million to Burma”

This is also in Trump’s State Department appendix where it says:

BURMA.— (1) BILATERAL ECONOMIC ASSISTANCE.— (A) [Of the funds]Funds appropriated by [under title III of] this Act [, not less than $131,450,000 shall] and prior acts making appropriations for the Department of State, foreign operations, and related programs for assistance for Burma may be made available [for assistance for Burma

www.whitehouse.gov/...

“$1.3 billion for Egypt and the Egyptian military”

This is in Trump’s main budget document for Fiscal Year 2021. Note: Trump claimed that Egypt would use the assistance to “go out and buy almost exclusively Russian military equipment” but that’s not how it works. The FMF or Foreign Military Financing grants delivered to Egypt every year are sent in military hardware built by US defense contractors, not cash that can be used to buy from Russia.

The Budget also fully supports the U.S.-Jordan Memorandum of Understanding at $1.3 billion and the U.S. diplomatic and security partnership with Egypt, including $1.3 billion in FMF grant assistance.

“$25 million for democracy and gender programs in Pakistan”

This one is also in Trump’s State Dept appendix. It says:

ASSISTANCE.—Of the funds appropriated under title III of this Act that are made available for assistance for Pakistan, not less than $15,000,000 shall be made available for democracy programs and not less than $10,000,000 shall be made available for gender programs.

“$505 million to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama”

In Trump’s State Dept budget appendix, it says:

CENTRAL AMERICA.—

(1) ASSISTANCE.—

(A) Of the funds appropriated by this Act under titles III and IV, not less than $519,885,000 should be made available for assistance for Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama, including through the Central America Regional Security Initiative:

“$40 million for the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC”

This is in Trump’s budget appendix for Other Independent Agencies. It says:

JOHN F. KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

For necessary expenses for the operation, maintenance and security of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, [$25,690,000] $26,400,000, to remain available until September 30, 2022. (Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2020.)

“$1 billion for the Smithsonian”

This is also in the appendix for Other Independent Agencies. The two amounts total the $1 billion Trump cited. It says:

SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION

Federal Funds

SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For necessary expenses of the Smithsonian Institution, as authorized by law, including research in the fields of art, science, and history; development, preservation, and documentation of the National Collections; presentation of public exhibits and performances; collection, preparation, dissemination, and exchange of information and publications; conduct of education, training, and museum assistance programs; maintenance, alteration, operation, lease agreements of no more than 30 years, and protection of buildings, facilities, and approaches; not to exceed $100,000 for services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109; and purchase, rental, repair, and cleaning of uniforms for employees, [$793,658,000] $820,313,000 to remain available until September 30, [2021],

(Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2020.)

“an additional $154 million for the National Gallery of Art”

This is also included in the appendix for Other Independent Agencies. The two amounts total $173 million, The amount Trump requested was about $19 million more than the amount Congress approved. It says:

NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART

SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For the upkeep and operations of the National Gallery of Art, the protection and care of the works of art therein, and administrative expenses incident thereto, as authorized by the Act of March 24, 1937 (50 Stat. 51), as amended by the public resolution of April 13, 1939 (Public Resolution 9, Seventy-sixth Congress), including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109; payment in advance when authorized by the treasurer of the Gallery for membership in library, museum, and art associations or societies whose publications or services are available to members only, or to members at a price lower than to the general public; purchase, repair, and cleaning of uniforms for guards, and uniforms, or allowances therefor, for other employees as authorized by law (5 U.S.C. 5901–5902); purchase or rental of devices and services for protecting buildings and contents thereof, and maintenance, alteration, improvement, and repair of buildings, approaches, and grounds; and purchase of services for restoration and repair of works of art for the National Gallery of Art by contracts made, without advertising, with individuals, firms, or organizations at such rates or prices and under such terms and conditions as the Gallery may deem proper, [$147,022,000]$147,174,000, to remain available until September 30, [2021].

www.whitehouse.gov/…

REPAIR, RESTORATION AND RENOVATION OF BUILDINGS

For necessary expenses of repair, restoration and renovation of buildings, grounds and facilities owned or occupied by the National Gallery of Art, by contract or otherwise, for operating lease agreements of no more than 10 years, with no extensions or renewals beyond the 10 years, that address space needs created by the ongoing renovations in the Master Facilities Plan, as authorized, $26,203,000]$14,413,000, to remain available until expended:

WhiteHouse-budget-NatlGalleryOfArt.png

www.whitehouse.gov/...

Trump also mentioned:

  • “$7 million for reef fish management,”
  • “$25 million to combat Asian carp,”
  • “$2.5 million to count the number of amberjack fish in the Gulf of Mexico”
These items weren’t specified in Trump’s budget. Instead, it says that the Fish and Wildlife Service which owns these initiatives is entitled to receive funding that it needs from the Interior Dept.

So, let me know if you need me to walk through any of this with you, otherwise, if you are opposed to all these Trump budget requests that were approved by Congress, I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on why you believe Donald Trump was wrong to want these items included, and actively negotiate for their inclusion, in the first place, and why, after fighting FOR these monies for nearly a year, (without objection from anyone, certainly not you) he (and, presumably you) only now objects to them after the Bill passes both houses of Congress, now that covid relief $$ for American citizens has been attached??
Seems his (and presumably your) objection to this bill has more to do with covid relief since it’s the only thing he didn’t ask for (and you didn’t object to) in his budget that’s now included in the bill...

Of course I could be wrong about your motives here, and am open to be educated further about them, but 45’s motives seem clear.

Cheers!

And of course Trump's objections are now at the expense of many Americans who so very much need this money. If he had worked with Congress all along we wouldn't be having this problem now but he didn't.

LOL right back at you. Do you honestly think that anything from The Senate Majority Leader’s office is ever going to be unbiased. Get real. You made the claim. Find something from a reputable news source to support it.
Back at you again.. Is MSNBC, CNN, ABC, the owners and CEO's of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube.. unbiased... Seriously.... your too funny.

Find me an unbiased source... Please...

Maybe one that isn't immersing the public in total nonsense.. all the while blocking, removing, demonetizing and hiding the awful truth that is contaminating the Democrats and many of the Republicans of the US.

They don't hate Trump... They hate that he is making the country great again and putting a monkey wrench into the combined plans of the communist and socialist wanna bees of this world.

Here's a hint.. When you are a liar and don't want others to know... accuse them.
If your corrupt and don't want others to know.. Accuse them.
If you want to cheat.... accuse them of cheating.
If you are a fascist... accuse others of loving fascism.
If you are trying to destroy democracy.. accuse others first..

Seems to be the tactics of the left... they've been doing it for 5 years

You should really read up on the subject, i think you're misinformed. This is the omnibus spending bill that also included COVID relief. The $600 is all the republicans would agree to - Pelosi compromised.
That 600 should of came months ago.. Things were different... Now.. it's been much longer and they people need more..

But... If you're all for giving your tax dollars to Pakistan for Gender confusion education...While the tax paying people get a slap in the face.... you're one of the few.

This should have been a stand alone bill .. not one that comes with baggage.

You’re clueless.

His objection is that this stimulus is a domestic bill that should cover only aid to Americans for COVID relief.

There’s no reason to include general budget stuff, whatsoever.

Not only did a simple bill become a 5,000 page monstrosity, but it failed to give adequate relief, which is its sole purpose.

600 dollars is inadequate. Trump wants 2,000.

If the foreign funding was included in another bill, it’s redundant to put it a domestic bill.

But don’t let mere facts stop your partisan ideologue spiel.

Can you really not see the issue here? Trump had his chance to give final approval, and he did. Now he is going back on his word.
That is not correct, the final proposal has been given to him for his approval and he has said no, how you come up with a final approval before the proposal was finalized is beyond any logic.

Bit like thinking Trump gets second term. Just believing something doesn’t make it true but just makes one appear clueless.

If you have a specific point you are of course free to elaborate further.

Wrong "Bud." You have provided a biased source, and I am challenging it. The following is from the Code of Academic Debate: "Naive use of highly biased authorities is one of the most frequent failings of debaters. Quoting employees of tariff-sensitive industries against free trade, of AMA representatives against a national health act, of labor union officials against putting unions under anti-trust law, of writers on Chiang Kai-shek's payroll against Communist China, are all equally useless." What you have provided is useless. Provide something from an unbiased source. And yes, they do exist. The New York Times is seen as having a liberal bias, but another New York paper, the Wall Street Journal, is seen as being fairly middle of the road.

My original statement was: Please... find me anything on Trump, Biden and the politics in the US that is from an "unbiased" source..

Can you do that?

Also.. Mitch McConnell... unbiased? That is funnier than your last post.

I stated that it is hard to find...
My original statement was: Please... find me anything on Trump, Biden and the politics in the US that is from an "unbiased" source..
Can you do that?

As I said in an earlier post, the Wall Street Journal is considered to be very middle of the road. In fact it is the only media organization that both Democrats and Republicans have rated favorably. The Associated Press also has a reputation for being very middle of the road.

Also.. Mitch McConnell... unbiased? That is funnier than your last post.

Maybe you should try reading what is written. My exact words were "do you honestly think that anything from the Senate Majority Leader's office is ever going to be unbiased. Get real” and I later said that he “is not an unbiased source.” At no point did I say he was unbiased.

The thing people need to know, Trump was not involved with the negotiations of the COVID Relief Bill, nor the budget all this time. This is according to Republican members of Congress. Then, the 11th hour when all he has to do is sign the bill, he's refusing. This will cause not only the stimulus not to pass, but will cause a government shut down.

This president is a evil psychopath !

He should sign the bill and then on Tuesday come to Congress and ask for the $2000 he says is needed.

He won't though. He's going to try and punish the people in Congress and the voters who have turned against him. He'll leave the issue for Biden to fix.

At least this time attention is being drawn to the non essential pork this administration has been putting in every budget request for the last 4 years...and they’ve all passed without public fanfare until this year’s.

But, people are waking up to the waste of tax dollars the Trump administration has been engaging in, with the help of a complicit Congress, the whole time.
Oh puhkeaze! People have been awake to the wasting of tax payer dollars for decades. Under both Democrat and Republican administration and Congress. Neither side has been fiscally responsible since the 90s.

What's with all the angst over Trump's spending. Did you just wake up now? Where have you been since 2000? Congress has been spending like mad and the Republican AND Democrat presidents have been signing these bloated bills. If you think this overspending is going to stop or slow down under Biden I've got a really nice bridge to sell you in San Francisco.

Except I don't think that anyone was claiming that the deficit will improve under Biden. I highly doubt that it will. But Trump was the one who promised to eliminate the deficit in eight years. He made no progress towards that, even before COVID hit.

Trump broke his promise to fix the debt. He'll blame Congress in 2020.

Feel free to point out the discrepancies you see between Donald Trump's actual budget proposal posted...and any claims about his proposed budget that have been made here.
I've already explained the reason why the griping about the President's position on this matter is not in accord with the facts.
